The Colony is tha shit! I love this fuckin show! Anyone else out there watch it?
Any chance of hitching a ride? You will likely be passing 30,000 over my house anyway...It's a great show except for one BIG IMPORTANT FACT... where in the HELL are you gonna find such talented individuals when the shit hits the fan? I would've brought in Joe the plumber, Gary the factory worker, Lucy the receptionist, Alfred the butler, and whoever other average joe I could think of because that is most likely who you'll encounter in this situation... not experts of every field imaginable to man. Therefore, the handyman has my vote as coolest on the show... normal guy!
There are some smart people on the show, as well as some educated dumbasses. Anyone else think amy, the marine biologist chick, is useless? Mike is one of the most valuable, but such a prick that sometimes he gets tuned out.
Now if I came into this situation... I'm headed straight to the airport... picking out a jet, refueling it and flying to Jamaica or some other tropical locale where I can spend my days eating fuckin' bananas and mango's and smoking the lords good green herb...
They escaped. The marauders conveniently waited for the colonists to finish the truck, then they attacked. There was a big staged battle where some actors got sprayed with fire extinguishers. Joey decided he wasn't leaving the city, so once everyone was near the edge of town he said he was staying.anyone see the finale? What happened? lol
I liked the first alaska experiment way more than the secondThey escaped. The marauders conveniently waited for the colonists to finish the truck, then they attacked. I thought the show was pretty decent, but could have been better. I still like the alaska experiment much better.
All that being said, I'll watch if there is a season 2.
I liked the first better as well. I think I just liked the smaller groups maybe...? Plus I really like Les Stroud.I liked the first alaska experiment way more than the second
