No, i didnt buy ph upper or downer. I need to know how to make my own.First test your water you have there (you have the correct amount of nutes in the water right?). Depending on the ph, adjust accordingly up or down. On the bottle of PH up and PH down you bought (right?).
Sorry can't help ya there. I buy the solutions myself. I use the ph pen and or the drops to test and the up or down solution to get the ph where ya want it.
Yeah I read the description and it stated to keep the tip of the pin in regular tap water, also is the calibration solution, used to correct your ph balance?

I let mine dry out after each use... it works fine. All I do, is rinse it under running water, then wiggle it about in a small amount of water... then I recap it and put it back in its case. The only reason they tell you to leave it in some solution for a while is to rid the sensitive end of any salt build-ups from your nutes. If you let it dry with the nutes still on it, it may not give such an accurate reading the next time you feed.

PH down is only £4 a bootle, likewise ph up. Total £8-£10. What's the point in having a tester, if you haven't got the up and down? Surely you can get a tenner from somewhere.
Greetings Weed Guy. Just read your entire thread. Just wanted to know if you bought or got any free buffering solution to calibrate your pH tester. I'm not sure which one you bought but most of them have to be calibrated two times, that being a low number and then a high number. It should have came with some and the directions should tell you what type you are going to have to buy. Hope things are going well for you man.
