I won't know the true taste til after they cure. The Ch#1 was 2 hits dried but that's all it took. I felt like it wasn't doing much and that I should smoke the Ch#2 with it so I could see what 4 hits that I normally take would compare to. I decided to wait on the #2 so I will be smoking it in a few minutes. I was 10 or so minutes in on just 2 hitters when I started to notice i was losing track of what i was doing. Almost to the point I gathered a bunch of stuff I was going to need today and then didn't know why i got it all together. It's def a keeper. It has another week offically to go so it will just grow in size and a proper cure will give it that final taste. I will get a little more formal with the report when the plant is done and I can puff without worry of going to work.....

Ok I don't know if it was the combined effect of the two or the fact that I took some Vic's this morning for my hip pain but I had to pull another bud off the #2. I had about 3 hits dry on it and put the crumbs of the two and killed it (not even 1/2 a hitter). I Had a great high that was followed about 2 hours later by a brain stone. I would space deep in thought and then suddenly remember I was doing something. A great evening smoke for sure.
I figured since I took the vic's today it was only fair to do the 2 again with new buds for tomorrow. So i cut a few more to last the day. I only had those hitters all day vs 10-15 or so of the others. Most def worth the upgrade. I was hoping to cut back on smoking and it looks like my lungs wont be so tarred up anymore.....

Sounds like you got an awsome haul. I have found out that the bong is now off limits until after work. I thought i would be brave (or stupid) and hit the bong with my taster of #1 today. I was lost in space for an hour and a half. I think i'll have to stick to hitters in the morning until I'm used to the new stuff. Now that I've tasted it I don't want to go back to the old stuff. I'm getting ready for the evening hit (bong of course) of #2. The ione on the left is the #2 the smaller one on the right is #1.

I have a gardian in my garden..... The moms responded well to the feeding last night. They all look nice and bushy. The under growth is coming on strong and should fill out the plants nicely. A few more weeks and they will be ready again. Now I just have to get more trays.
The Ch's are 7 weeks in and the JTR#2 is about a week or less behind that. The JTR is on the left the Ch#2 is in the middle and the Ch#1 is on the right. The leaves almost seem to be melting off the top like ice cream.The testers are awsome, way better than first anticipated just out of skepticism.
The JC#1 has three buds per node and looks like fat little roses sprinkeled with sugar. The Jc's are in the second tray, can you tell which one #2 is. (hint there's only one) The JC#1 are very tight and uniform. Even at 6 weeks they are dripping with glands. The #1 smell sooo good I want to eat it, like candy .
The last tray has 2 JTR#2 and the Snow Dawg on the left. The Ch#1 is on the right. Even at just 4 weeks the Ch#1 starts to get the melting leaves.....

It melts your mind if you don't watch your intake. I've figured out that if your going to smoke it in the morning you need to only do one hitter and drink a lot of coffee. Without the coffee you never seem to wake up, like your stuck in a daze or something. Two hitters in the morning is to much and the bong is out of the question. About 2 hours in I had to drive 45 minutes back from a job and did 2. Since the coffee had taken effect it was a good comfortable heady ride home.
I wonder which parent has the drooping leaves in it??

For some reason when I look at the JTR#2 it makes me think I got some of his orange bud by mistake. I could be color blind (I am) but the buds look reddish orange. I have not had a JTR#1 make it to flower yet. I had 20 or so clones from it die so far. I have several in veg now so it won't be long before I have something to compare #2 with but for some reason I thought all sub's pic's showed white buds on the JTR.....
My DQ #5 has 3 in veg and will be in the next tray in. DQ #6 has rooted clones and will go in soil as soon as I get some trays.....

Wow oh wow, where does the time go? I've been busy and haven't had time to update anything for a while so I will rectify that.
I harvested the seeds and put them all in baggies for some distant time. I didn't take any of the ones from the JTR as I don't like this pheno and will not continue to grow it. I'm not even going to flower the mother so I don't waste the space. It's not that I don't think theres a killer one in my seeds i just think with the Chernobyl #1 pheno looking just like it I'm sure that it's leaning toward that line and it rocks. They both have the droopy leaf curl but the Chernobyl hands down had better bud structure and density as well as heavey tric's. Chernobyl #2 is shorter and had broader leaves with no down turn. The Ch#1 has a citruis smell, maybe a little lemony (if that's a word), and the #2 is more earthy.....
The JCII #1  are in their 7th week of 12/12. The #2 is way taller than #1. #1 buds look like roses with sugar all over them. They smell out of this world good. The lemon drop candy is gone and it's more like lemon dish soap, lemon but with a funk. I had this pheno hermie on 2 of the 3 cuttings. They are 2 or 3 nanners but not the pods of them and I only found a few and picked them. I'm not really worried as I grow for myself and I will smoke the shit out of it if it taste anything like it smells. I have more seeds now than I will ever grow from the ones I ordered to the ones I just harvested to the ones I will order someday. So I will be chucking any I find that I didn't specifically breed. The taller pheno is sticky and covered in tric's as well. It has less lemon and more of a citrus smell.
The next tray has the Snow Dawg on it. It is on the far left. The middle 2 are JTR#2 and a Ch #1 to round things out. The Snow Dawg has also hermied on me it too has shown up on more than one cutting. This pheno looks good but no where as nice as the one I saw in another thread that I'm not sure but think was posted by Sub. The leaves in that pic were broader and had the tric's coming out onto the leaves,this pheno looks like it leans toward the Space Queen with the turned down leaves. The buds are nice and hard and very chunky. Theres a lot of them also so it will have a good harvest. The JTR#2 looks good in these pic's but they are very wispy and would dry out to nothing. I'm sure it's a good plant but it's just not up to the quality I'm looking for. Maybe in my other seeds I'll find a better one. Lastly the Ch#1 again. These are in their 5th or 6th I'd have to look and I'm to high to stop typing.
A look at the flower room. Newest recruits come in on the left and exit after a 8-9 week sunny vacation from the right. I put the UV light in the middle and pointed it toward the right to simulate the more intense rays of the summer and slightly into fall as the plants move. I don't know if it makes a difference but what the hell, their getting 300w more light for 6 hours a day.
A pic of the newbies. The Vortex is front left and far right. The DQ#6 is the yellowish one in the back (needs repotted and is overwatered). The other 2 in the middle are the Grapefruit. I have one tray left to put in and still haven't had time (or remembered) to get the 3 new trays. The clones have started to veg and grow in the cloner. I have to get them out of there and into soil asap or I might have trouble. Notice that I left the cloner pump on for the photo? Lastly the mothers are ready for a trimming but I just haven't had the time to do it. I need to get things straightened up this weekend or risk losing some clones and getting off schedule.
