The bill you're referring to DOES NOT BAN anything. It gives the FDA power to regulate tobacco. The FDA ALONE has the power now to regulate tobacco. NOT Obama.

FYI: it would have become law even if he DIDN'T sign it, because it had majority support in Congress. BIPARTISAN majority support. That means republicans AND democrats in Congress voted for the bill.

Did I say "men in black" came to your house? No, but a summons to appear in court isn't generally served by telephone. Mail, maybe, but not telephone. Maybe nobody "physically" showed up at your house to serve the summons, but the summons came from the government - so your insistence that nobody cares if you pay your taxes or not has already been contradicted by your OWN statement that you've gone to court 4 times for tax evasion.

If you actually READ my post above yours, you'd see I DID, in fact, answer that question.

I'll say it again since you seem to have missed it the first time - Menthols aren't included in the ban because they are popular, and the tobacco industry probably lobbied to have menthol excluded from the ban for that very reason.

Doob, the point remains that flavored cigarettes aren't advertised towards kids at all. By kids I mean people who are not of legal age to smoke.

Anyone else is considered an adult by society in all respects but the legality to drink and gamble (who knows why? college kids drink more than anyone, and the 18 year old card houses around college campuses are always packed. 21 is the legal age for casinos with slots but casinos with just card games can be 18+. anyway got side tracked).

Kids can't buy cigarettes, that's the bottom line.

It's not like a 16 year old is going to start suddenly asking his 18 year old friends for flavored cigarettes because they are so much better than normal cigarettes and OMG HE SAW THEM IN THE STORE ONE DAY AND JUST HAD TO TRY THEM ALDKFJALDJF.

It's either the kid is into it or he's not. They like (and are addicted to) the feeling of the tobacco, not the taste of it.
