just wanted 2 know if choppers would be able 2 see my grow from above,, i have 2 1000w lights in my attic/loft, venting out the chimney, insulated by insulation, plasterboard and mylar,, would this come up as a bright house or be barly noticable

i would guess in ur attic ( high up ) with that much light u would be noticed very easily , dont take my word for it but thats alot of heat in somones attic.. also iits not like theyrgoing to def fly by ur house

you better believe it!!!! they can see you. if your attic feels warm to you then they tell exactly whats goin on. my uncle quit growin indoors after gettin busted. the evidence they showed in court was like they knew every detail from inside. the question is were they fliring(scanning) your house or just flying by?

with all that security you got you sound on the right path. I dont have any idea as to the tech or experience there so I am just guessing along. Interesting fun tho

I would say make sure you air cool your lights right and use air conditioning to keep that temp down to lower than it would normally be. Come to think about it if it is our addict then usually they are pretty hot. If you are growing then the temps are a damn bit cooler than they would normally be. Lol, if you keep grow temps in their then how could they see it if they are cooled.

Any way their are extra measures of IR blovk out here if you google. I say buy them for all the bud you grow. Also I hear to wathc out for winter if you live in snow! I have seen lame ass sad pics of roofs with no snow. Ground with no snow. Snow will catch you.

they make heat shiled u can put around your lite and air cool them sending the hot air outa the chiminy is best looks normal but the ir can see through the walls and will see a square hot spot(your reflector) i would imagine if u can get that heat shiled and keep ur grow in the 80s they wont be able 2 c shit. plus its invasion of privacy charge on them if they use it. unless u had a warrant on u or thier was a police chase directly next 2 your house i would imagine they can see the heat but who cares get your sccript man, veg 12 feminized at the same time as your 6 flowering ones and tell the cops thier unsexed seedlings and grw them as big as possible then when u chop the first 6 hang 2 dry re plant all ur other 6 biggest fems in the room and start 6 more seeds buy. the time ur plants get 2 be the massive sized indoor plant your veged one s will be one their way about half the size as needed i bet u could have 3 plants on each 1000. haha all u need now is a veg room. or u could veg 6 and and bud 6 annd have a cabinet for babies good luck.

Look up "Celotex" insulation or similar products. It can be nailed on to the walls then cover the room with diamond mylar that should do the trick.

they might be able to see it...

remember that FLIR is not all the evidence they can have against you. a FLIR image is not enough to arrest you.

someone has to narc on you. you have to have safeguards in place.

a good one is having a color system for every day.

Monday - yellow
Tuesday - red
Wed - Blue
Thurs - Green
Fri - orange
Sat - brown
Sun - White

give it to your middle man, talk in code language, nothing as obvious as grass, or green, or mary j... use another inconspicuous word....

when you pick up, tell him to give you the color challenge...

tell him to give you the wrong color if there's cops or something like that. then don't act crazy if it's compromised, act normal. but you already know something's up.

that way you have time to get rid of any evidence, and the cops are left setting up a bogus sting.

So you have to fuck up something else before you get worried about FLIR detection. Keep you mouth shut and your trash properly disposed of and you'll be fine.

Unless your in the U.K. growers in the US are lucky to have that law but here in the U.K. they fly where they want when they want & always have the FLIR cam on... man we got it bad.

im using all the space to my advantage, 20 plants under both 1000w in a sog style grow having 10 come of every 2 weeks an 10 go on

From what i gathered by the poster I wouldnt worry about it. Yeah, those lamps will produce a lot of heat. But they are being vented out the chimney? Last time I checked, the chimney is used for venting heat and smoke. And as previously stated, FLIR cannot be used without a search warrant. That doesnt mean that they still dont use it though. But the FLIR image is completely useless as evidence against you if it was obtained illegally. So just dont screw up any other way and give them a reason for a warrant...

they are looking for huge operations. If you have under 12 plants, you will be fine. THey are not wasting their time on personal growers. 2 lamps? you're fine.

20 lamps, you may get a knock or a pounding on the door.
