haha thanks everyone. dont have radio shack and when i went to order from them online it was sayin something like $80 US for shipping :S fuck that. i think it'll just "feel" ready when it is.. i'll have to use my 6th sense of ripeness detection

hehe thanks guys, im cuttin her down in 2-5 days. i think i know what you all mean by the oranging of the hairs and the crispyness. Once i've cut n dried her i'll let you all know the final dry weight.

I would keep it going for atleast 2 more weeks. They look fucking phenomenal (best colas I have seen for a while); but they dont look "done" yet. Forget the trics, forget the hairs. Click on the link below to see what a finished plant looks like.

I gotta know more about your setup.
I would try anything to clone those genetics or re-veg if I were you and then take clones.

yeah those pics are like 2 weeks old now and i have read that link before, so judging by that and my from what i can see, she looks about 4 or 5 days to go. ill try n get pics of her but im pretty busy atm >.<
as for the grow...
medium: cana-coca
Lighting: Veg: 20/4 flower: 12/12 - 400watt Lucagrow HPS
watering: - During veg (once it was well established) 4 waters per day, 1 minute each time with PH: 5.8-6.0 and PPM: 2000
- During flower: 2 waters per day (during lights on), 2 minutes each. same ph and ppm (but flowering nutes abviously, which i started 2 weeks into 12/12)
Nutes: I used Xtreme Veg (A + B) and Xtreme's veg additive (think its called quick grow? i got it for free so why not) and for flower i used Xtreme Flores (A + B) and Potash.
I veged for about a month or maybe a little less from seed and at about week 4-5 of 12/12 i trimmed off all the lower part of the plant as it was recieving little to no light and was only producing crappy little bud (the hectic amount of trimming was inspired by the grows i have seen 'M Blaze' do).
if i missed something, just ask.

Does anyone else notice that the first link is over twice as expensive as the radio shack scope even though they are the exact same product? The only difference is that the 420 scope has a sticker on it. Please do not take c5rftw's advice and buy the radio shack scope. Thank you

whats better veggin 18/6,20/4 or 24 for 2 weeks then to 20/4 , i thought that plants needed a minimum of 6 hours dark time to grow, i see som many grows and different veggin times

try them out for yourself and see which one you/ your strain prefers. the plant doesn't need 6 hours of dark to grow.

Hey guys.. today i cut down 2 buds.. now a word of advice to any aspiring growers wanting to grow "tons of bud".... Trimming the buds takes FOREVER.. this is so meager task. fuck me just cutting those 2 bigguns took me like half an hour and i can't even notice a dent into the whole plant >.<. But yes apart from that i did cut down and trim 2 buds. here's some piccies. i should have the rest of it cut down in the next two days.

Hey Magilla! Although i'm having trouble harvesting at the perfect time, i can tell those are not close yet! You'll want to wait a few more weeks! I've harvested when my buds looked like that a couple years ago, and its wasn't very good
... Do a tester nug and decide for urself! Great looking plant!

well i have little choice but to harvest now due to various reasons. but yeah i cut down some and i did the dodgy and quick dried a small bit (using a microwave) and it was pretty dam good tbh. and i only see it getting better with a proper dry

Hey here's a few pics post-harvest.
top rack = leaf (to make into BHO)
middle rack(left side)= popcorn little buds (BHO also)
middle rack(right side)= Big bugs
bottom rack= lots of big buds
I'll have the final dry weights up in about a week... once it's dry i guess ...
