Hello everyone.........So im still trying to plan out my first grow, and i am going to use 1 90 watt ufo and some cfls for flowering, but im not sure if i should buy 2 or 3 of the 65 watt cfl's, or just get alot of 23 watt's and put them all over the place.
If i were using about the same watt's, what do you think would be better, 65 watt bulbs or 23 watt bulbs?

It depends on the lumen output of the bulbs. So you would be looking at 3 23w to 1 65w. most 23w are 900lumens and i dont know lumens of the 65watter but it probally over the 2700lumens you would get from the 3 23's. But with the 23's you can run them closer to the plant and can place them in unlit areas. I say the 23's.

will heat be a problem for you if you use a ton of 23watters? or do you have good venting and intake and outtake and oscillating fans?

im planning on getting a few more fans, venting shouldnt be a prob. I was origonally planning on adding 2 of the 65 watt cfls with the UFO, i will put the UFO in the middle and have the cfls at opposite ends. But then i started wondering, if i used smaller watt bulbs, i could spread them out more, and even put some at the bottom..... not sure which way to go here

You can still add a few 23w cfl's to the bottom along with the 2x65w and the UFO. Even just two if the budget is a little tight. More lights, the better! Just make sure the ventilation is good and you should be fine.
