If you get some spare time can you take another photo from your deck overlooking the garden? I love the last pic that you took from that view. I was wondering what it looks like now.
Thanks

Good morning Dragon, the little ones are still drying, doubt if I'll get more than 1 1/2 lbs off both? Will be bringing 2 more in around Tuesday, first one from a box...We still love you...... I have acted out worse on here I think?????
how bout that deck shot? right outside the sliding glass door from kit.??? looks nice from there I am sure..... and how did those two "little" ones (1-2 lb's ea.) turn out?
I laugh every time I see the green shade cloth barrier trying to hide those plants, lol. The durbans just cant be contained. Looks great Ms Hodge and Hodge. Ive been busy chopping and trimming. Im so lucks I have a plants finishing at different times. Is that crooked prairie bud?Good morning Dragon, the little ones are still drying, doubt if I'll get more than 1 1/2 lbs off both? That's the Crooked Prairie, had some caterpiller damage so it's not as big as was when cut. Those Durbans are starting to fill out now, last 3 pics on last post..I laugh every time I see the green shade cloth barrier trying to hide those plants, lol. The durbans just cant be contained. Well, I had to try something, lolwas that a sample bud? i never noticed the green shade haha reminds me of my screening that didnt do shit
Yea, the wife seems to have mellowed out as of late. Worms are munching the heck out of the Mango and she's wanting to pull it, only thing is it's still 2 to 3 weeks from being done. I'm for just letting it go and pull it when it's ready. We have 2 Mango and should yield over 5 lbs between them, (at least) so if the worms munch on 20% , that's still 4 lbs of good bud. Thoughts are appreciated...of course even i had to take a sample haha cant wait
Appreciate that, were tearing this site out after this grow so it's up in the air if were even going to grow here again. We have our site up north where were building a cabin as I type, there's a garden there and have yet to find a caterpillar.Hodge, I have been reluctant to say anything because I'm only 1/2 way thru harvest. But, I have not lost 1 oz to worm damage. The "carport greenhouse" works great for worms!
I'm pretty sure for a couple of grand we could cover your entire grow area with these things. They would pay for themselves. I'll help you build them, you don't even need any tools!
I'm serious, think about this: 0% worm loss!
Peace
jj
I've got a good friend who's also using the garlic and he's yet to find any real damage? Guess I know what I'll use next time..I am still yet to find a single worm/pillar..... I attribute it to luck..... and garlic ...... guess it does keep the vampires away lol....... its even keepin the mites back...... Lady bugs today!!!
In the past I've always used plastic bags, trim them up and store them in a dark trunk until needed. Have used the seal a meal but for the most part just the glad or zip lock style bags. For security reasons I can't go into further detail on this years plan, once it's all over and done with, I'll post up the how and pics to show you..Hodge,
How do you cure your stuff? Do you use canning jars?, and I read on one of your posts (I think) that you said you just put extra plants in a barrel and get them when you need them? Do you trim, dry or how do you store them?
