Just out of curiosity, does anyone know which landrace strain has the highest thc%?

The little bit of google research I did leads me towards thai and possibly african sativas.

This is the rip-off section. The following seedbanks I've heard many bad things about. They are NOT recommended. aka means also known as. X means they seldom or never send the product. N means sending non viable seeds (non sprouting seeds) M indicates they send very inferior seeds or nothing at all.

A-1 Seedbank (X,N)
BC Seeds (X,M)
Beeoo (X)
Fairlight (X,N)
Greenmanspage (X,M)
marijuanaseed.us (X) Software Services aka Cannabis4u aka Medical hemp aka [email protected] [L.Pafort] (X)
Richies Seedshack (X)
Stinkey's (X)
Weedseed (X)
Pot a Gold (X)

Hey Howard.
Its a while since i've looked into landraces, but I seem to remember that WOS Mama Thai appeared very powerful (22% THC I think :-?).

Infact, WOS have lots of strong landraces, as well as Mandala (as I know you know). Though its no true landrace strain, Afropips Malberry sounds great, Malawi Gold (land) x Power Plant (land) x Blueberry.

I think you've got the right idea with Thai and Southern African strains from the seedbanks. If you're willing to go on a bit of an adventure though, i've heard of a legendary plant called Sumatran Tripping Grass! :eyesmoke:

Great stuff here guys. This is the kind of input I was hoping for.

Mr Tm and Bricktop, I'm strongly considering trying to grow out a long flowering sativa, possibly pure haze. Have you smoked these strains recently or are we going back a while? Have you grown anything mentioned?

I especially value input from some of the older tokers here...say people smoking for 20+ years.

Hey Howard,Im looking at the columbian hazes from breeders choice.Im just going to try a couple plants at a time. From my experience in the 70s and 80s anything from the mountainous regions of columbia was strong. Those reds back in the late 70s were trippy and energetic, Im presently growing JTR.Chernoble,SB,SQ,Pot of Gold and still have about 25 opium clones finishing,Im always looking for that sativa high.I just ordered cindy 99 off the farm.these are suppose to be the holy grail of fast flowering sativas, these are top notch beans according to grow and smoke reports. .Peace

I think you may be just the guy I need to talk to. What do you think of JTR? I am very interested in trying out some of subcools stuff, especially his jack crosses.

I like energetic, euphoric highs and from what I've read a haze may fit the bill. The trippier the better as well. As close to herbal lsd as possible.

I believe jack has some haze in it if I'm not mistaken. I am trying to plan out my next seed order, and I have 3 things I want.

1. Something indica dominant for back pain, as well as the occasional bout of insomnia. Possibly jillybean?

2. A high potency sativa from one of the "hot" breeders. I have mandala's satori and I really want to see how it stacks up to some of the more well known sativas. This is where I am thinking JTR/JC/JC2...?

3. An old school, long flowering sativa. I just want it trippy. Flowering time and yield are not an issue. A 16-20+ week flowering time won't scare me away. At this point I am leaning toward one of the BC columbian hazes, budget permitting. Their pure haze is probably my second choice if money gets tight.

I don't want to keep ordering seeds every few months, and I figure with those three things I can entertain myself making my own crosses for the next several years.

Anybody else's input is appreciated as well, especially you Bricktop. bongsmilie

This JTR is going to be a huge yielder,I can tell by the vigor in the all his strains that Ive got something special. Im looking at JC2 next.,I think its what Im looking for. Peace

All 34 plants look like females no funky or stretchy growth.Im doing an extended veg with two 430s in a 6x6 room.It seems I can get those 430s closer for faster vegging and less stretch

going off of mel frank's marijuana growers guide the highest thc content is in plants from costa rica, then india, with veitnam at a close third. but this is only going on THC content and can be variable by transport and grower.i just love how he shows the thc, cbd, cbc of all the originals, good shit.
