Starting Light Cycle for Autoflower

Hi all i was just wondering what the best light cycle was to start seeds just planted in soil. I ran 18/6 the whole way through before and i wasnt sure if i shold give them more light since they are still underground?

I just throw my seeds in and water and leave on 20/4

low ryder breeders use 20/4, however i have seen people use 18/6 with just as nice results.

im using 20/4 they seem to be doing good, personaly i think 18/6 might be better, since plants do most of their growing at night.

Ive grown LR#2 under 24/0 and do all my vegging under 24/0 so i can personally tell you they dont grow more at night.

i have my Short Rider fem auto on 18/6 n she seems to be doing fine, growin alot bigger then when i had her on 24/0.. i feel that they do grow more @ night due to the change in the light schedule i see a big difference in the growth..IMO..
