Worst part about Craigslist is the plethora of fake posts and scams. From ANY SECTION there's at least 80% fakes. Every single W4m or M4W is a fucking scam that will soon email you links to webcam sites. Every single job posting is bullshit (which is sad especially in times like these where people NEED jobs, 80% of the posts are scams... good job society, really). Every for-sale ad or ad you put up will have some fucking red necked, 1987 silverado driving, fucker who wants to TRADE pieces of whatever it is. That website had turned from OK to absolute garbage and a COMPLETE waste of bandwidth. I vote shut down craigslist, it has no uses anymore except scamming.
i recently bought 2 full sized "owner bottles" for my oxygen off craigslist. for a 1/3 the cost of retail. you exchange them when you refill them so they are all the same.
you can close craigslist, but you'll have to shop for me from now on.

I have bought and sold several cars, gotten several roommates, the home I currently live in, my main ho, furniture, just about anything.
Because its free you have to wade through some bullshit. ebay and amazon charge, craigslist doesnt so it ends up being a free for all but it is great for me.
And yes the singles postings are littered with BS but I dont think its 80%, except in the casual encounters. I have boned a few ladies from the CE section but it takes some digging through phony posts.
And yes the job section is littered with work from home internet schemes and "commission only" crap, but there are PLENTY of good legit jobs there. Thats where I got 2 of my last 3 jobs.
For me the highlight of craigslist is that its super fresh. If it sucked yesterday, today will bring 150 new women, 300 cars and 20 new decent job listings.

yesterday i bought a bedroom set on craigslist for 200 bucks maple wood. i got two nightstands a large his/her dresser and a decorative queen bed probably 1500 dollar value the people were moving and couldnt take it so i scored big. still cost me two bones though but oh well. if your lookin for work on there i like to check the labor gigs and stuff cuz ive been pretty lucky with that. the other thing is my friends neighbor tried selling weed on craigslist and got raided 14 hrs later. so i wouldnt recommend that but 420 friendly they cant do anything about really. usually cuz its in casual encounters or something and someones trying to hang out. so i dont think they would pursue that

You do get a lot of weird shit from people on craigslist, however I just delete them and can always sell what I need to sell quick enough.
