Coolworks ice probe

came across this today, wonder if it works. not sure how add link, just google it. 1/4" inlet, and it sits on the outside of res. about 100$. 1 probe will cool 10 gal 6-8 degrees f. you can use more than one per res for seriouse cooling. im not a salesman, my res temps are 75....id like to drop 6-8 degrees f fo sho

check it out. Seems okay. if you kept the res away from lights and used that might do well.

Been awhile so i forget.I am using a 4 gallon bucket right now.Was using a 5 for the grow before,it worked on both very well.Have a pic later.

thankx mind, how about diy cooltubes? have any good things to say about them vs a vented hood? my hood squeezes in my cab making it hard to vent adiquitly. i baught a bake a round from ebay, and have a good fan to suck heat out. any advice?

yeah i gatta 465 cage fan. i really want to use my hps, and if i stick with my original setup im afraid res temps will rise too much. dont have the money for the ice prob right now, but i can afford to make my own cooltube. i am using cfl right now for veg, but i want the most bud i can get out of a 2x2x4 cabinet. looking foward to pics of your ice probe setup. thanks

super. whats the white box on the side if the bucket? part of the probe? killer buds man. is the plant in your first pic current? how long will you veg, and what light are you using? what will you xspect off that one plant? sorry for all the q's, but i have a fat girl like that, and was curiouse.

That is the thermostat control.The first pic is a current grow,she vegged for 3 weeks.
She is on her 3rd week of flowering now.
The second picture was White Berry and i got 7oz dried and cured off her...

damn 7oz, what light? do you have a probe for each bucket, or just that one in the pic? heres a pic of mine in 3 weeks veg, havnt flowered yet. ganna wait a lil longer maybe 2 weeks. think ill get a decent yield with a 400 hps on just this lady?

Looking good.I am using a eye horilux 250 watt with lumatek ballast.
I just have the one probe.It will do 2 5 gallon buckets.
