Hello there

i have a small grow box with flat white interior, i have had 2 very good crops from it using 4 OSRAM 23w=120w warm white twisted cfls

does anybody have any idea how many grows you can get out of cfls, and do they get dimmer with time etc ??

when to replace them basicly

thanks

Those are good answers but the problem is a CFL or any flourescent can still burn and make light, but not make the desired proper lneeded umens or rays.

Consider the tanning bulbs, that still light up after a year or two, but will not tan cause they are old.

^theres just a little more stretch thats all
i have actualy found stretch a problem when i switch to flower as my grow box is around 1n half meters high and within a few weeks into flowering the plants are nearly touching the roof thankfully so far they have stopped just at that point

It is just not best. You supposed to use COOL white in VEG, and Warm white in BLOOM, but also use a mix, a blend of the dual spectrum, 60-40%. .
