My scale keeps saying "rCAL" for some reason. Any ideas?

no.
you need to hit the recalibrate button and let it reset to what it "thinks" zero is.
you should have weights to make sure it is reading accurately.

seriously, replace the batteries..?
what the hell would that do..?
just give it a fresh source of power..

I hit the button and it said "CAL", then to 100.0, then it turns off and once I turn it on it is the same thing.

well then find the manual for it and read the manual.
if you threw it away, get online and find it.
i guarantee the manufacturer has one for that model or a universal one for all their models.
