how would you do this room (lighting)

OK I have a room in my home that is 10 feet by 10 feet. my goal for this room is going to be 4 to 5 lbs every 3 months.
How would you light this room? how would you grow the plants the less maintence the better. I have 1 grow under my belt it was a 2x2 ebb and flow with 400watt hps mh conversion and my buddy was very impressed with the weed. thanks!

10x10 is a good sized area, your definitely going to have to get several HID lights Im a CFL grower but if I were to guess I'd grab another 2-3 of those 400w conversions if I were you

1000W HPS minimum

would most probably do it using 4 x 250W hoods equally spaced to get even light distribution

I have a 12 x 12 room im going to be setting up with a 48 site ebb and grow system. I read that you want to have 6000-7000 lumens per square foot so i figure i need 936000 lumens of lightwich is in between 6-8 1000 watt lights. i am thinking about doing my veg and flower under hps. i know it has the proper light spectrum for both so why not. I am iether over shooting my lights or you are seriously under calculating yours. good luck with your grow hope you meet goals.

theyre severely under calculating ... 1 1000w...? Id go with 5 or 6

4 600w lumatek digital ballasts
4 eye hortilux super hps bulbs
1 acitve air 6" 400cfm fan
lots of 6" ducting
cap thermostat for fan

I think I decided to go with 6 1000 watt h.p.s. that will give me 5972 lumens /sq ft. although I am going to have to go with the econo line at first good deal at hydrowholesale for 189.97 for 1000 watt ballast hps bulb and reflector.

i hope so two of those grows going to fund my green houses. hoping to yield gr/watt.i will post some pics when i get it set up.
