HELP!! I think shes gotten too big!

My plant is an indoor grow and in a small grow box. It vegged for about 5.5 weeks, now flowering for about 1.5 weeks. Showed pistils about 5 days ago. Since i started the 12/12 lighting schedule the plant grew a lot more than i expected. The tops of the plant are now getting close to the light and top of my grow box. What should/can i do? Do i need to build a new box (i rather not)? Help me please.

Looks like they stretched for the light a lot. Next time do some LST to keep them low. If I was in your shoes i would make a new box and add some more cfls to the sides. The bottom leaves look like they need some light. Good luck man.

when put into flower the plant doubles in size.....
lst it now and continue ur grow

Lights were always kept about 3 inches away from the plant. And the plant is LST'd it would be about 6-7 in taller if it was straight .

you can do some things to make it bush out such as the LST you shoulda but a little shelf in so the branches could grow up through them and branch off different ways..might as well let them bud now

Yeah I continue to LST throughout flower to keep an even canopy and get maximum light penetration. The only reason I would add more lights is because cfls do not penetrate very deep at all. Keep us posted on what you do.

I went ahead and tied down 4 of the main tops. Im gona leave the lights as they are now mainly because of a cost issue, but hopefully for the next grow i will have another set of lights. I checked on them a couple hours and they already started to turn up towards they light.
