Cheap indoor MJ Grow Techniques!!

Hey everybody!!! Need some tips on tryin to start MJ indoors as cheap as possible. It seems u need all these high tech gadgets and lights to doit indoors. Where I live I can't have such a set up. U never know when the po po will come knockin' plus im only lookin to grow a couple plants, so please give me some easy methods.

Save your money. Some will say cfl's but in the long run it will be cheaper to just buy a 250w or 400w(you can find them on craigslist for $75). You can get a ph tester for $12, and a bag of soil is $20. But dont expect to grow 2lbs with $200 into a set up. Oh and please dont tell me you live with your mom and dad..............?

No I live wit my girl, but there is a police station less than 300 ft away!! Im a landscaper so all the soil, pot's, and diff. chemicals r free.

I tell you friend, you can grow dense good smoking buds from cheap cheap. I spent 150 dollaroons of canadian money and i grew me some dank buttons. People are just plain crasy. Get yourself about 7-10 cfl bulbs, for like 13$ each at Rona, or wal mart, or one of those stores, and you will be in business dude. Last time i went to my backyard garden, took a shovel and dug up some garden dirt, planted some seeds in there, and put it under some wal mart lights, and i had buds in like 3-4 months. crasy crasy people. this site is like an advertisement, its not a real place. its fake like the government htat rapes your ass, these people are nutcases who tell you to buy million dollar dirt, dirt??? dirt is dirt. poop is poop. sorry im drunk but still, liestn to me, im the long bearded jesus type.

woo! free supplies awesome. go get like 10 cfls and you are in business friend. 4 6500k and 6 2700k. cfls are great on money, and work just fine. anyone puttin down cfls is nothing more than a horses rear end

lets see $13 each X 7=$91 and that is just in bulbs! And you have not even bought fixtures yet which will be another $50 for fucking cfl's. Will it get you by....yes but will it work like a 400w NO. Different people mean different things by cheap. I think you can do a modest indoor grow with an initial investment of under $200 and I consider that cheap. But then I recall the kid who wanted to know if he could grow weed in a paper cup under his bed and shine a flashlight on it for 15 minutes twice a day. As I recall, about a dozen posters said, "yeah, that will work fine."

A couple cheap pots or buckets, a bag of dirt, and some lights, cfl's will work fine.

In a few weeks you will want to get some nutes.

Your lights are probably your biggest expense, and your most important. You can these bulbs for 8$ and could get away with using 4 for the first couple weeks. Just add a couple more lights when you get paid.

You could set this up for 60$ or less initially.

ok, heres how i did mine:

1. Old entertainment center - Free
2. 3 4ft flouro light holders - $18
3. 6 4ft flouro daylight bulbs - $30
4. Cheap planter box - $6
5. Bag of potting soil - $8
6. Oscilating Fan - $12

Grand Total - $74

Im sure you can find a box or make something i just had the entertainment center layin around, good luck.

I just started my first grow and I bought 8 42watt 150 equiv 2700k cfls from walmart for 8 dollars a piece. That's a little over 64 with tax. I also bought 8 26watt 100 equiv 6500k cfls for 6 dollars per 2 pack. Thats a little over 24 with tax. I built my light fixture out of wood from the depot. I think I spent like 2 or 3 dollars on a 2"x6"x8' piece of wood and they cut it to my specifications. I then had to buy the bulb fittings. they were like 1 a piece times 3. Now if you only use 3 fittings then you don't need 8 cfls. That would save on money. If you want to use more light which is good then you will have to buy bulb splitters. They are like 2 something a piece. I bought 5. That was a little over 10 dollars. Also you will have to buy a bunch of extension cords to hook all this up as well as a power strip. I think you can get them for 1 dollar a piece and the power strips aren't bad either. You will need pH test strips since the digital meter is too much for you to spend on. You may need a fan to cool the temps down and promote stronger plants. You may need a thermometer. I bought a combo temp and humid meter for like 3 dollars. They are all right on the lights being your most expensive stuff. If I could do it over again I might go with a flouro tube hook up or a hps/mh light fixture because they might end up costing the same without the hassle of searching and building if you shop around a little bit. My reason for doing what I did was because of the heat they produce and the cost of the electric bill. I really don't know how those bulbs effect those things but I know cfls don't really effect them that badly. As for using dirt from your yard you really shouldn't especially since you work with premium soils and stuff. I guess you could get by with it but you would need to bake it for sure. Hope it works out.

What about a maglite with AA's
Some of the cfl's plants people pull-off in here are amazing and even the cheap $3.00 bulbs will work. Just not much quantity.

When you consider that doing it on the super cheap might get you an ounce from a plant where stepping it up just a little might get you 3 or 4 ounces, and that those ounces are easily worth $300 each, it seems like the best investment ever to cough up a little more up front.

my question though is how do you control the heat and the electric bill the way you can with cfls. I am not an advocate for either i just want to know for my own personal grows. I want to do the best and obviously hps/mh are the best but for me i am worried about bills and heat.

Thanx 4 da breakdown on the price list. Im a landscaper so the only thing I have to pay 4 is the lights. Everything else is free. Now my next Question is whats the best place to buy seeds??

just search the internet. theres alot of good seed banks. i heard sensi and attitude are good places.

yea if you are looking for personal smoke plants listen to chopper..I made my own grow box inside a pc works fine and cost me about 50 bucks. Works great for a nice bush
