it takes so long to flower outdoors, i believe it has something to do with not enough darkness. can putting something that puts my plant in complete darkness before the sun does all the way down, so i can control its 12 hours of darkness, speed this process up?

also because im a US grower where im at its getting colder so im trying to speed things up quicker

yes you can cover them, but they have to be completely covered, no light leaks. how far along are you. some pics would helpfull.

shes oretty big.6 ftt tall but i tied her down. i have no clue what i could use to but on top of her without suffocating
You should have tried to control darkness 2 months ago. Most of the area is already under 12 hours of light.
Covering your plants now is not going to give you any benefits unless you cover it with heated see thru plastic.
Sorry just have to get an earlier start next time or move indoors.

I mean she flowered when she flowered...about the same time last year..even planted in late april early may and still wasnt done.. had to harvest do to snow Nov2. Also i trimmed alot of plant matter above and around her so she gets more sunlight now from i believe from 10am-430pm..problem why she is behind in some parts is because of light leaks i cannot seem to get under control but better then it was
