clones and CFL lighting needs

up until now i've been cloning on a shelf in my veg cab.

i've now sorted out a small (13"hx24"wx18"d) clone chamber with a little propagator (10" x 15") in and i'll be doing between 8-16 clones a pop.

i've got 2x20w warm white CFLs i'd like to use, will they be OK in terms of lumens and color? i.e. is 40w enough, and is red light OK for the rooting stage.

They will work, but it will be much better if you could use cool white spectrum...And if ya can dont go below 26 watt...But clones do not need much light...

I have used the warm whites for clones, and i really didint see a bid difference, but i think they should root a lil faster, but im not 100% sure...
