You really want to be just like that guy? What a terrible way to grow, 100+ plants and all of the risk that goes with that so you can grow what I can grow with 6-8 plants?

My advice is to pay attention to side- and under-lighting. My one Super Lemon Haze plant yielded 7 ounces of cured bud, and this was with CFLs only (50 days veg). Since CFLs won't penetrate that deep from directly above, make sure to spread the bulbs around. I had about 50% of my light coming from the side and under my plant.

Its for input & guidance purposes. Do you happen to have any pics because I have 25 small plants in 4 litre pots & Im wondering what would be the results with only 9 but in 11litre pots. What do you reckon laserbrn?
Well OP, firstly lemme say that I don't believe that there is in actuality a real bet - I'm guessing that you only have $200 for lights, already have some fluoros, and in a big dream in your head think that you can get a pound off of them (which, coincidentally, is about $4000 worth of weed most places).
That being said, if I'm wrong and there really is a bet (in which case I apologize for doubting you, but I'm pretty sure that I'm right), I'd think long and hard about what words were used between you and your friend when making the bet - your post simply says "harvest a pound", not "harvest quality, smoke-able nugs", in which case you could probably just grow a few plants under fluoros, and when the time came, chop down a couple of whole plants and give them to him and receive your $4000.
BTW, what exactly do you lose if you can't grow a pound under fluoros in five months? Because to make it a bet you'd have to have something at risk (which I guess could be your time, but usually people attach a monetary figure to said risk).
And why would your buddy pay you $4000 for the undoubtedly not-so-great weed that fluoros produce?

start with two cfl's per seedling, and when you have the strongest ones get them more lights (as much as you can per plant and surround the plants in them) do shit like lollipoping(or get more light for the lower growth) topping, supercroping, if you get to many males grow the males two and the flowers will weigh more because of the seeds

Not gonna happen...not being a hater but you would need about 40 CFLs and hope u don't start a fire not to mention at least 10 females opps 80 bulbs 40 6500k and 40 2700k I got 6oz with 4 105w CFLs 2700k and 2 105w 6500k with advanced notes in a 5 gallon bucket flowering after 8 wks of veg but I feel like it was just luck and a lot of LST and topping...
