Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

question for all you auto growers. one of my plants that sprouted on my the 17th of sept. just showed sex recently (male) and i am wondering how long until the sucker will blow its load (aka release its pollen) because i am interested in collecting it seeing as it is a very strong individual> Anyone who knows round how it takes until pollen is released please answer as i want to collect some because i have no females at this time.

in all seriousness.. my autos are lookin damn good.. there short as hell and alrady growing more limbs from the limbs (dont know the terminology for this) but im wondering when i should throw my hps in and take my mh out

if thats ur girl shes fine as shit, and i would put the hps in as soon as they all showed their sex.
 
journal and pics comin within the week guys. my lights jus came in from htgsupply!!! and yea reiss i got the fem aks cuz of u. that yield was da shit.
 
hey guys, jus went on da tude an saw they have auto diesel ryder FEM and lowlife hindu kush FEM!!!!!! i may b late but im not really a seed breeder so i made a few impulse buys. lol as sooooooon as im done with these aks in 2 months im startin the fem diesel and kush. now i have 10 reg diesel and 10 blueryder left ova? shit i hate jus lookin at seeds, but i want to grow those fem diesel and kush soooo bad!!!
 
PEACE:peace: I JUST RECIEVED MY BEANS FROM ATTITUDE (AUTO AK47-FEM, AUTO POISON DWARF--REG, AUTO AFGHAN KUSH RYDER--FEM, PLUS THE FREEBIES LA WOMAN & CONFIDENTIAL AND SOUR CREAM) MY QUESTION IS THIS...SHOULD I SOAK THEM OR JUST PLANT THEM? I REALIZE THAT IT IS A REDUNDANT QUESTION AND I HAVE SEEN ALL KINDS OF POSTS EXPLAINING ONE OR THE OTHER AND THAT'S WHY I COME TO THE AUTO JUNKIES TO GET MY INFO. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING ALONG AND I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND SHARING OF SUCH ON THIS POST AND I WANT TO KNOW HOW EVERYONE ELSE STARTED THEIRS. ALSO I WANTED TO PUT SOME ORGANIC FERT IN THE MIX BUT IT IS FOR VEG AND I DONT KNOW IF IT WILL BE OKAY TO START WITH BECAUSE THEY SURPASS THE VEG STAGE AND GO STRAIGHT TO PRE-FLOWERING. THE FERT SAYS IT LASTS FOR 90 DAYS AND I WOULD BE DONE BEFORE IT IS USED UP SO CAN I USE IT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BLOOM AFTER ABOUT A WEEK OF VEG/PRE-FLOWER OR SHOULD I JUST PUT THEM IN THE SOIL-LESS MIX WITH OUT IT AND ADD A BLOOM FERT WHEN THEY ARE READY? i used the paper towel method for my current and last auto grow... got my lowriders from attitude seed bank and some dinafem bluehash and dinafem blue widow freebies... the lowriders all sprouted except one bean.. so far so good
 
Peace i apparently need to spread it around first but you know what it is bro...much appreciated and i will do just that. I had done the paper towel thing as well but i had read on here a few posts where people were saying that it wasn't necessary. The thing is that i did try their way and i ended up throwing the beans away after 7 days (schwag beans) and the ones that i soaked and then sowed, 90% germ rate. I stopped the p.t method becasue i didn't have any one time and i just soaked them. Came out fine. Thanx 4 the response and info i appreciate it...........peace!
 
I tried to germ some bag seed in a paper towel and they never sprouted... i have had 99& sucess rate with the PT method using mail order seeds.... i get a plate and paper towel.. fold the paper towels evenly untill its a 5 inches wide... run both the paper towel, plate, cereal bowl under extremely extremely hot water to kill any germs.... then i place the paper towel on the plate with the bowel covering up the paper towel.. i let it cool down for 20 min then i put my bought seeds in there.. several days later they are all sprouted

ive never soaked my seeds and figured that i will continue the PT method because it works good for me.. good luck bro

are those arjan autos stable. i read somewhere thta they didnt flower as an auto would. i wanted those beans as well but i backed off. i did grab some fem auto kush today. 2 packs to be exact. i here they stay chort so i will do 20 total. 10 in each tent. this is all for my second grow. i may throw an auto akxkush in there as well jus to see wut it can do. also depending on the yield from my 2 grows i may add 400 w hps to both tents so i will have 1000 per tent
 
shit if i can find a good place to keep my third tent, i will throw the diesel ryders up in there all 10 cuz i here they usually dont branch out much. so as of now i have my setups to start my journal by this weekend. im already thinkin ahead with a third tent. lol i figure if i can have 3 or four grows all at once, ill stay with exotics up the ass!!
 
i was thinking about throwing my freebies in with my lowrider.... i got a dinafem blue hash and a dinafem blue widow..... neither of the freebies are autos so they could be used as a short mother plant.... hmmmm
 
has anybody tried using rapid rooter plugs. i picked some up today an friday i want to i want to germ and use the rooters? has anybody used them with success?
 
nope but i heard that are the best medium out there.... better then rock wool... i heard you can even take the plugs and stick them in the big rock wool cubes ... im totally lookin to buy them someday
