1000 watt bulb????

i have a HORTILUX METAL HALIDE BLUE 1000 watt
im using it for veg right now my friend thinks if i use that same bulb for flowering i will not produce high quality bud and instead should use a HPS
below is the light spectrum the HORTILUX METAL HALIDE BLUE puts out is this a good range of spectrums for flowerings ??????

Hps is better for flowering. You can use the mh and do just fine.

the own graph you posted shows you how good it is... its near the optimum for blue so it will do fine for veg. but it is lacking what is needed for flowering by half. i dont know if you already have an hPS or what but if your choosing which is better than i say HPS for sure

Your chart suggests that it could be alright, the real comparison is where HPS compares to that chart.
