S-t-r-e-t-c-h (too tall!)

So this Sour Diesel is starting the 3rd week of flower and it's about 4 ft tall and stretchy. My lights can only go about a foot higher and it's at least 18" above the average height of the rest of the group. Is it too late to top it? Any suggestions?

Wow. Stretchy. You don't want to top while flowering. i would suggest using a net to spread those long branches out since you will have to support those baby's in a few weeks anyways.

I think that's what I'm going to try to do tonight. It's already 3 weeks into flower and I really don't want to cut anything. Hey, it's an learning experience. We'll see how it goes. Thx for the feedback!

your gurlz looked like my last grow of White Rhino had a indica pheno and a sat pheno the sat stretched like crazy. I ran outta head room quick so i said fuck it ima try bending her ass over, and in the end she looked like the number 7 lol and i still got over 2oz...

What wattage light are you using? I see you are using a super spreader

cut the top half of the plant off and clone it.. then you can have an additonal plant and wont loose any yield

That Sour D is going to stretch a bunch more too
I would clone the weak branches from the bottom to half way up or atleast toss it because it will be junk buds
then tie the tops down some how but the buds will need support
its to late to cut the tops

Im with u on that 707 got fam in north cali. if he was to take the main stems and bend them over he should be ok 3 weeks aint that far in. I did mine around that time and came out fine just be carefull when bending them.

600W (i wish I had gone 1000w but i was afraid of the heat build up and the electric bill.)

I think the super spreader works great. There is significantly less heat directly under the bulb.

Nice! Somehow "bendin her over" always works out.

Well I was trying to bend them over but I guess i was trying for too dramatic of a bend because they snapped.

When does Sour D (and marijuana in general) stop gaining height? Is it the 4th week of flower or do they keep getting taller until they are harvested?

Great! Why did i have to pick a stretcher to start with? Ah well, at least I'm learning a lot about how to make sure plants don't stretch.
