Made me realize that a) its right and b) we really do put a lot into our projects.

So, what stoner-centric projects have you done?

Mine (that I can remember);
- Many water bottle/bottle/random object bongs
- A custom vaporizer (instructions: http://www.build-your-own-vaporizer.com/buildavaporizer.html)
- Custom lighting and ventilation for my grow room (doing this now, kinda fits here and kinda doesn't)
- Custom hidden cam watching the door of my workshop (so my wife & I don't get surprised by my daughter or over-night visitors while smoking)

Up & Coming projects;
- Automatic watering system tied to the computer (have sensor, couple of scripts and a computer controlled relay for this, need pump and more testing)
- Automatic light moving system (have the servos from an RC helicopter and an ir detector that can check to see if the plant is getting closer to the light, idea is to have the light move automatically a certain elevation above the plant)

So, what have you built/planned/dreamed about?

i've been dreaming about making a nice grow room someday...i have a litttle blueprint but it's on my other laptop.

i drew it on paint...hehehahaha

it will be a couple of years down the road...i live with my mom and i'm going into the army next month
so i'm trying to stay clean and shat...

Have you ever tried Google SketchUp?

It's really intuitive 3D software. Not at all complicated like XSI, Maya, and stuff, and suited to things like mock-ups for landscaping and construction.

You could use it to lay out a house, grow room, or even plan the layout of your hydro table.

I have a python script that will activate the relay via LPT or Serial and one that will gather data from various types of home-made sensors. The sensor one will launch the other script depending on the requirement.

Yea, once I get around to building it, I'll post it up. I'm sure someone else can use it, especially since most of these are pretty simple once you get past the idea of doing your own soldering.

First thing I thought when I looked at their strawberry plants was "Wow, those lights are waaaay to high". I wonder why they really grow in that box
