2 fer now then im getin a 400 watt hps fer the other side of the closet!how many sweety were talking about
and two 42w for flowering
so wait veg, use a mix 26 watts and daylight ones, and flower use 42w?get some 26 watt and add some daylight ones too, you need a mix of both
hey man i use 26watt 6500k for veg and 42watt 2700k for flower ,i would use 42 watt all across the board but i cant find 6500k in 42watt. 42 watters give you more lumens per watt giving you more light for less money.the kelvin thing is important , 6500k is like the same color temp as a mh and the 2700k is like the same as hps. when you are looking at the cfls in the store the watts that matter are the ones the bulb really uses not the watts it is equal to.hope that helps
If you've already got the HPS, just use it to veg too, it will do a better job for you than only a couple CFL's will.Thanx dood i think i only need veg lights cuz i got the hps in their too, but ill get the xtra bulbs any ways!
yea thats wat my homies keep sayin but, i already done that and i wanna try sumthin new and im in a very lil area fer hps all day. oh and im gunna get a 400 watt hps in a month er so and use this 4' florescent and the cfl's fer my veg side of my closet, and the 400 and 150 watt hps for flowering on the other sideIf you've already got the HPS, just use it to veg too, it will do a better job for you than only a couple CFL's will.
thanx dood!I use 1 23W bright white CFL for vegging and 1 23W soft white for veg. I am limited on space so of course you can add more. My plants grow just fine.
didnt even notice thought it said floweringOh shit sorry man. I mean the 23W soft white on budding. Not vegging. My bad
fer sho, i kno a lil bout lummens but i dont kno nuthin of cfl's that wat im trippin on, im a hps dood! just tryin to c wat they do in veg!as far as cfl's go ive seen people grow very nice plants with 1, 23 watte cfl...lol me personally I use a 75 watt, 3 of them inside of a pc case...works fine...you need to look at the lumens for the bulbs not nessec. watts. go do some research on lumens in lights for weed
