I am using Scott's soil i believe i took a picture of it and its on the first page... the temp is gonna be my most difficult obstacle it gets pretty hot where I live in the afternoon. So far just opening up my closet cools the grow room down and I have a fan blowing cool air over my ladies. As far as smell, i was told that all i need is some air freshener and if that doesn't work I can light some incense or a few candles around the house. Thank you for your positive energy Hotpepper. I hope you have a wonderful grow when you get set up. I for one just added some more lights because my girls are getting big and need more lights. Pics coming soon. They are looking great. Couple of questions... what soil/mixture are you using? Also how are you controlling temps or planning on controlling smell when its time to start flowering? I'm assuming this is a closet grow. I ordered some AK48's a couple days ago. In the meantime I have a LOT of reading and set up to do. (Being that I am a total noob to growing) Your pictures will be great for comparison sake not to mention inspirational.
Still lookin good Nailz!! dont forget if you need any help etc, then just holler and i will throw you my 2 cents!!
Yes that's a whack on my head for stupidity!I am using Scott's soil i believe i took a picture of it and its on the first page...
It's all good man. I am willing to help out those that have any questions that they might have on my grow.Yes that's a whack on my head for stupidity!
From my own personal research and from what other people have told me, is that the Cannabis plant does not show sex until it goes into flowering. There are some signs during the vegetation cycle that could lead a person to believe that they are showing sex. I am by far no expert in the area but that's what i've got so far. Although I don't have to worry (I hope) because both of my plants are feminized. Thank you for your insight and positive energy.I would wait to force flowering till they show sex!!! ive read and heard that if you flower them before they show sex this can slow down growth by stressing your baby girls!!! ask some more people or do a bit of reading to make sure!! but i dont want to see you start to flower and then they all go weird on you!!! don't forget im a new grower too so i could be more than likley wrong!!
Just have a little check before you do it!!!!
Good luck make!!
Ya i have a rotating fan on them. I really do think its over-watering. Hopefully she will bounce back from it soon. But ya thank you for the insight. How strange, I was just reading a thread on another forum about that. From what I got out of it was over watering or the stems aren't strong enough to support the weight of the leaves due to lack of air circulation. Do you have a fan in there circulating the C02? Just a thought but remember I'm a noob so..... might wanna get a second opinion.
Thank you Baggins for your words of wisdom.I had the same problem, infact it still happens to mine but only at the end of the day when the lights are about to go out for there 12 hr nightshift(their in flower) as yours are younger i would say that it may be overwatering!! just let it dry for a few days and then just add smaller amounts of water!! everything should be ok!!!
