Short Rider w/ Pix

hi all, well this is my short rider fem @ 54 days with 7 days into flowering. i dont see any white hairs yet but i think she has some preflowers.

im not sure but can anyone see any in the pix??

i think she is very small for her age, she actual looks like a mutant plant if you seen her in person you'd know what i mean.

grown in soil w/ BMO nutes.

any comments or suggestions welcome.:peace:

well from what i know she is suppose to be a autoflower. i vegged her for a month n half , first on 24/7 then 18/6, thinking she would grow more during the dark period, i seen no difference. now ive had her in flower for a week and the growth is tremendous.

Other people are having problems with them autoing im growing 5 right now they are 45 days old they started flowering in 21 days they got buds all over and there are big and short ones hope to get ounce from each plant happy growing

Ok, lets clear something up... Short Rider is an unstable strain, there are about 4 pheno types.. 3 of these pheno types DO NOT autoflower !!

anyhow, autoflowers don't need a light schedule - yes it will grow and flower under 24/24 (although, this is very unnatural for ANY living thing) but I know someone that does a perpetual 12/12 grow and he's grown auto's with no problems.... I would agree that 18/6 was best for auto's but its not a nessescity..
As for Short Riders - you have to play them by ear....
HowHighru- Keep them on 12/12 now buddy, they'll be fine...
DSB- Sounds like you got lucky there buddy, Autoflowering after 21 days? Nice 1...

When I started growing Short Rider, they were new to the market - there was no info or experience from other growers... I hope this helps a few people, I would advise against this strain personally!

yes i agree with it being unstable, i would not grow this strain again either.
im just waiting to see how she turns out.

All I can say is don't expect it to be the best smoke in the world... Its pretty standard (and not worth the work or electric, IMO) LOL.... :peace::twisted:

I harvested mine last month, I had 3 feminized Short Riders, 1 turned male?? the other 2 were 2 completely different pheno's, I got 64 grms off 1 and 40 grms off the other so yeild was spot on.... while they were growing they were lovely to look at, nice smell .... once dried and cured the taste was Ok (nothing special).. The effects were poor.. (I would say Short Rider is Nirvana's weekest strain - Aurora Indica and Papaya are the same price for seeds, grow the same size (4 to 5 foot) and finish in similer time too (about 15 weeks from seed) and they blow you away) :twisted::peace:

yeah i dont expect much off my SR since she is so small but hopefully she will be somewhat bigger as she grows more.
i was lookin at those strains you mentioned the do look awesome:leaf:
