All growers are welcome to join in and give your ideas to the rules and guidelines but I am starting a BIG BUD CONTEST on 11-15-09. You've all seen the Guinness book of world records pumpkin---hell ya!!!:mrgreen:. I want to see who can grow the biggest,fattest, dankest nug on RIU. Plus a little competition is fun once in a while. Lets try not to get too serious with the rules and of course tons of bud porn will be sweet...

Of course there will be a prize or prises----I don't know what yet but something----maybe all entries could toss something in the pot and the winner take all???---I don't know---I'm sure there are growers that would like to be part of the contest and their are those that want to "root" for their fav grower(s).

Should be alot of fun----I'm going to grow out a three way cross that is a shear monster--it was a gift from a close friend and breeder---its not really that strong and has a bland flavor but man----""""massive sized buds"""-------the strain is "BIGFOOT"---(BIG BUD x NL x TOEJAM)

Ironically I just went two days ago to the "store" and picked up 3 clones (White Widow, Big Foot, Sour Diesel). I also picked up one seedling of Godzilla. I am still new to growing, but my first attempt is going great (Citral). I normally like clones simply because they are pretty much guaranteed to be female. Hey Doc, why is it that information about the Godzilla strain is limited at best. It seems to be the favorite at the store right now. I use the exact soiless mixture that the store uses and that stuff is amazing. The Citral plant can't drink enough water. I will upload a picture of my new babies and my Citral plant in flowering. Let me know what you think. Top Left-Sour Diesel, Top Right-Godzilla, Bottom Left-White Widow, Bottom Right-Big Foot. Citrals the flowering one. This is immediatly following transplant. All plants are now doing great, but White Widow is still stressed. For lighting veg room (600watts hps) and 4 Blue Spectrum LED Panels. Flowering room (2x600watt hps) 6 Blue Spectrum LED Panels. Cooled with a 6000 BTU AC unit and 3 electric radiator fans ducted out (1500 cfm each) also each light has an inline duct fan (250 cfm). Sorry, but I just finished the room and am very proud of it.

Looks great!!!---Hope you will join the contest and make a run at the big bud. They look really healthy. I think GODZILLA is starting to works its way around a little. I've received alot of great feedback about the strain and I'm thrilled your growing it!!!-------Glad to have you on board and welcome to RIU.

id get in for the kicks. its my first official grow. goin with kali mist and the freebies off attitude. things like this seems fun to me. there should be a whole separate forum for competitions on various things. would be sick

also im going to be using cfls so im sure i wont be a victor considering my experience and the fact that cfls are cfls. thanks guys

There is going to be some MASSIVE nugs in this thread---The pics alone will be worth the visit!!! I hope some of the pros and vets of RIU will join in and show some skill as well as just those that want to have fun...

So Its on !!!. The BIG BUD show... I hope we get some heavyweights in here. I'm going to be rocking a strain------GIGABUD. It's a cross (Bigfoot x bigbud x NL). I'm going to try to harvest the turkey leg:lol:. Speaking of turkey----I will be in Amsterdam in 2 weeks for the HTCC. I will be back in full force after... Join in and show us your skill...

Im in, I just started a Bubba Kush clone and a OG Kush clone and 23 other greenhouse white rhinos and white widows, and just for luck a couple of seeds I have found in great smoke. I will post pics soon and this will be my 3rd grow journal. I am using a complete Advanced Nutes line in a Grow Lab 80L with a 400 watt hortilux on a light mover. Lets do it.
