?? on switching nutrients on 12/12

I am working on my first hydro grow.
Wow, I',m amazed how much better plants grow in hydro compared to soil - much faster and heathier compared to my previous growing "tries" in soil.

Any way, they have been vegging for the last 4-5 weeks under a 400w HPS on 24/0 in FoxFarm Big Grow nutrient solution

They now average a height of 24-26".

Last night was the first night of 12/12 lighting.

Should I switch to the FoxFarm Tiger Bloom now for flowering or wait a week or so to let them get used to the new lighting schedule before "hitting" them with a new nutrient solution?

I always wait a week before I change, but I dont think it really matters.
hmmm, now see, that's why I posted the question.... I've read both ways but never seemed to have found a definite answer which is better......

i've done both. best yielding results are from switching right off the bat, including boosters. it turns the 2 week wait for transition into 4-5 days, meaning more flower time for your flowers. numbers show a 17. something % increase in yield, can't remember the decimals.... :p

well, I do like the idea of faster flowering and increased yield :)

Guess I will change the nutrient solution this afternoon afterall

Thanks

My last two grows i have switched nutes with the lights and theres always what seems to be slight shock with a mag def(hydro), next grow i will continue w/ gro nutes 1st week of flowering. hopefully it will reduce the shock less light.

Thats exactly why I wait a week also, but once again, I really dont think it makes that much of a difference. In the long run you still end up with the same result minus any shock from that first week or two of the switch.
I dont start my flowering timeline until the plant starts flowering either.
