so my mom broke her leg in multiple places due to a car accident... after hrs of surgery, shes been puzzed bak together... shes lives alone and needs help... i now have to get rid of my garden and move her in my bassment... this is so disapointing cuz i like to grow but really what can i do??? fam comes first... anyways, im closing up shop for the next yr or so till she ready to do it on her own... good luck to every1 and see u sooner then later(i hope)

i dont get it,if your moms broke her leg in multiple places why move her down to the basement?
im just saying it'll be easier if you kept her upstairs in the den maybe,that way you can take her to doctor's appointments and shit,and you could still keep the basement for the plants,hey its gonna be atleast 3 months or so before she'll be able to go down those steps to investigate,by then you'll have atleast a grown almost done

keep her on the first floor so that way it's easier to get in and out,keep the grow op and feed her a special cookie(secretly)for the 8hour pain relief

this is funny cuz we pondered about the best situation becuz our main floor doesnt have a den... its a kitchen, livng room and dining room and always in use (we have kids).. theres not even a bthrm on it... so to get her to bed and the bathrmm upstairs daily would be more stairs, plus the basemnet is a walk out to the drive way where as the main door has stairs to the drive way... so all in all, it works better.. plus then shell have her own living room and bthroom so shes not allways naggin on me... oh god, i can see it now.. hahah.. i have talked to my close cousin and he said, he will let me finish up what i have goin at his house so its not a total loss of what i have now...i dont get it,if your moms broke her leg in multiple places why move her down to the basement?

+ Rep for taking care of your mom. I have Italian blood in me, and taking care of family is the top of the list for me. Its a family culture kind of thing.
I would burn my grow op to the ground in a heart beat if it would help my Mom or Dad. They raised me as a child, and it is expected that I will take care of them when the need arises.
I only have one Mom and Dad for a short time in life. I can always grow but they come first. I am in my 40's and they are in their 70's, so its only a matter of time before they will be relying on me.
