Clinton did nothing when the WTC was bombed back in the 90s. And Carter helped the radical Muslims take over Iran which was the most westernized country in the middle East save for Israel. I honestly believe Carter, under the guise of human rights was just trying to create enemies for Israel because he is a rabid anti-Semite.
But anyway, the war started when the West surpassed Islam in all areas of life. All you need to do is look at some Muslim websites to see that they are at war with us. Of course it is unreasonable to assume that people who live for no other purpose than to bring down the great Satan would fly airplanes into buildings.

I've already posted the point. All of this 9/11 conspiracy makes us appear WEAK and soft headed to our enemies.
The Muslims know dang well who pulled off 9/11. Saying otherwise tells them we are not even focusing on them.
Obama flailing about with our foreign policy, while attacking the CIA is icing on the cake for our enemies.

When the japanese bombed pearl harber we should have just sat around waiting on number two who knows maybe they just wanted the island it was nice. I mean it was a suicide attack so only the guys on the planes are guilty right? Shouldnt have got involved in that war either I suppose......... I hate the war in Iraq because its unjust we crapped on another nations rights to invade another. The war was needed the means of the war is unjust and unamerican we could have crushed all of these third world countrys by just not doing buisness and stopping ALL supplys from flowing to these countrys. They need oil to run their economy we have a supply of oil that we could release to the market at low prices and crush all the economy in the middle east.
Sell our oil reserve and we win the war because the middle east has no founding unless some countrys wanna break some treatys and start more wars and have no oil to run they own countrys considering we got the oil at lowest price competeing with middle eatern oil. We can lower our prices lower then them without taking the biggest hit they need oil we need to get our head out of our asses. This war could have been won with reserved oil and its the truth.

This cynical naval gazing on the part of the truther fringe most certainly emboldens our avowed enemies.

Seems to me that one must perform self delusional mental gymnastics in order to fail to recognize this existential threat.
These terrorists and wannabes may not have been taking orders directly from Osama Bin Laden and his cohorts, but they certainly aspired to work as an instrument of his deadly plans. It is only a matter of time before terrorists actually working for Bin Laden succeed.
All these plots, all of these dropped balls, and missed dots, still unconnected and all the while, Al Qaida waits, to kill and kill again on our own streets because of our own Government’s misfeasance.
America has changed, Bush is gone, Obama is the Hope of the World. So why is there more terror directed at the U.S. than ever before? Is it because our president has misread both the capabilities and intentions of our enemies?

Where the good ol' U.S toppled a government at the behest of Chiquita Banana Co. being upset about the president at the time wanting to raise the minimum wage. This is nothing new, nearly an identical scenario occured in 1954, 'united fruit' same as Chiquita.
In fact, look into the history of any South American country with good natural resources, that country has probably been ruined by the government of the U.S (Venezuela, Guatemala, Ecuador, Panama, ad infinitum)
