Awakening Documentaries/Movies Thread

I wanted to start this thread so that we can add all the awakening/eye opening documentaries/movies so theyre all in one place and we can discuss them.

Ones I can think of right now:
Zeitgeist
Esoteric Agenda
The Invisible Etherical Realm of the Earth

Anything like those. You can also add books if you know of any like DMT: The Spirit Molecule. Basically anything eye opening, awakening, exposing the truth, dimensions, spiritual, etc. Ive watched a few of them and am really curious to see some more.

These are all excellent documentaries. The first few probably aren't appealing to most of the religious, but unless people are die-hard evangelicals I really suggest watching Jesus Camp and Deborah 13.
They're real eye-opening experiences.

I second Bill Bryson's book. It's absolutely fantastic. I listened to the whole thing on a 2000km drive and it's fascinating stuff.

Reading The Selfish Gene, Climbing Mount Improbable, and The Power of Babel.

All are very good books. Although Babel was written before they discovered prairie dogs have a language too. (I'd like to have seen him work that into the book)

To update this thread Im currently watching something called "The Legend of Atlantis (It's time to wake up)" and it's really good. The entire thing is about 4 hours though so its really long. Maybe watch it over a 2-3 day period.

Im also in the process of watching Zeitgeist and reading DMT:The Spirit Molecule.

I love documentaries and watch more "non-fiction" movies/tv but we have to remember that everyone making them is doing it with an agenda. Your agenda might be noble like environmentalism or not so noble, like convincing stupid people of things that are not true.

Zeitgeist is one of those that appeals to people who really just don't know much about how the world works. The people can almost always be identified by depth of their understanding of the subject. For instance I might ask "so if there really is a New World Order who will start wars and murder people, why have they not come after that handful of people who "figure it out"? Generally you get an answer like "well....like.....its the corporations maaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn"

i was reading that at the bookstore not too long ago, its on my reading list as well as a book called "biocentrism"

a doc i just saw the other day that was really good and eye opening was called "the war on kids". it doesnt have to do with awakening and higher levels of consciousness but its still really good. its about the school systems in the US and how the kids are being treated and they go into talking about kids and how they're too medicated...it was really good.

and everyone keeps telling me to watch "what the bleep do we know" i guess its about quantum mechanics and consciousness and stuff...i havent got around to watching it yet but i keep hearing its really good.

Its a damn good read. Not very far into it though, so far its talking about how religion was formed as a result of misunderstanding communication from the "etherical world" or afterlife, and that being passed down from generation to generation. I heard that in this authors books he provides factual scientific data from a lottt of sources that proves an afterlife. Sorry atheists.

EDIT: atheists, you might actually like this. It totally picks apart and disproves religion.
