Ive seen some grow tents asking 400 bucks a pop and there no bigger then 4x4x7.. Its either a really good one with anti-thermal detection film built in or someone trying to make a quick 300 bucks.... is there a certain type of tent I need to get or are they all the same

That looks like a good one. If they have one thats a dual chamber then its sold!!! I seen one someplace but it was 5ft wide and 4 ft deep which is way to big for my crib.. something small and concealable (within reason) would work perfectly.. thanks for the link bud.. plus rep

good shit, plus repped u slov. hope my joint docs turn out to b bitches on this one i got goin now with my fem aks. do u get 2 main colas wen u top autos? i got 15 diesel ryder fems here and 15 fem auto hindus im waitin to crack. may wanna top the hindus here are the babies now soakin up sum imitation sun. i added a 400 watter since the tent pics tho. so its 1000 total now

Yeah it looks like I'm gonna be getting 2 main colas on each of mine.
I don't know if I'd actually suggest topping yet, since my experiment isn't finished; but based on what I'm seeing so far I'd say yeah!
Top those bitches at about 11-12 days from seed, when the second "true" node looks healthy enough to take it.
I say go for it; but maybe just do it to one or two?

Slov, here's the reason why you SHOULDN'T top autoflowers:
When you top a plant, it gets stressed and takes time to recover. If you top a regular plant, this is fine. The veg time can be as long as you want so time to recover is not an issue.
Autoflowers are on a tight time schedule so the time spent recovering from topping is time wasted on growing a nice healthy plant.
You will get 2 colas, but your overall yield will still be deminished.
Hope this makes sense and discourages anyone from topping an autoflower. It's just not worth it.

I understand all that, and it makes sense - in theory. However, has anyone actually tried it, and has first hand knowledge? I definitely wouldn't have topped 5 plants, but it will be interesting to see the results.

Ive heard that messing with an auto flowering plant will diminish its yield. But i have never seen any scientific experiments that proved these results. I am a science guy not a 'i heard it from a friend of a friends that lived next door to my cousins house" type of guy. SHOW ME THE RESULTS PEOPLE. Ive heard 100 different people make the simple statement that its a waste of time to clone, top, chop or do anything else that results in the physical alteration of the auto plants natural structure. Somebody had to try this experiment and must have a documented case proving either way. If not then its time for us to get our gear ready and to prove this theory once and for all until it becomes scientific law or proved otherwise.

damn 100 pages on this thread, bet kolorblind didnt expect it to pick up like that but its a good thread anyway, i wouldnt top autoflowers just let em grow. hopefully u get some nice buds off your topped plants slov because the diesel ryder is a heavenly smoke. i love it i had to order the fem diesel right when it came out as soon as kushy told me in my journal they were on attitude i snatched em up and they just got here today.
