Not bad for the digital ballast. It's kind of a toss up. How far will the budget stretch, what do you plan to do w/ it, ect., ect. I'm w/ dgk though. Spend the money now and you'll regret it less in a few months.

well im in california so i thought i would try a outdoor grow in the spring i'm haveing a lot of fun with the indoor stuff. so its probley going to be a winter thing. im in my 3rd week of flowering and my plants are geting to big for my single 250w they are about 4' x 4' and geting bigger by the day the buds are only about 1" long so i have a while to go
once u get hooked on indoor where u can control everything u will never give it up bro.. unfortunately for me last december i bought 2 600 watt hps ballasts less then a year later i upgraded to the 2 1000 watt dimmable balllasts.. 500 dollars for two 600 watt ballasts 180 for 2 600 bulbs total cost 680 less then a year later i dropped 700 on two 100 watt dimmables and 240 on two bulbs.. both money well spent but go wit the dimmable off the jump.. save u some money

I recommend 400 watt as its got a good heat/watt balance.

can you put to much light to your plants
no but u can put too much light too close and burn your girls up

well i went with the 400hps im going to try to sell my 250 and get a nother 400 i think
