good day everyone, i just bought some Espoma Organic Traditions Soil Acidifer for my babies. Was wondering if anyone has tried this to get their PH down?

Right now my PH is @ 7 for all my plants and I know its alittle too high for them. I got this on Friday @ Home Depot for 9.00 dollars and is a 5 lb bag.

It says to put a tblsp per 4" of pot. I just wanna make sure its safe for maryjane.

Thanks for ur replies. :peace:

This site is more of a "post a question and come back tomorrow and hope it's answered" kind of place.

To answer your question I have never heard of anyone using anything other then vinegar/baking soda or the pHup/pHdown items to manipulate soil ph.

If you read the label and researched MJ you know this is aluminum sulfate, a commonly used and safe PH lowering agent.

But be careful with that stuff, use less than half what they recommend.

Container Applications:
Add one tbsp. for each 4˝ of pot diameter.

I'd go with 1 tsp per gallon

Vinegar or molasses will also lower PH and it's a lot more forgiving.
