I don't understand...you cut the fan leaves but not the buds?

You always want to leave the fan leaves until they fall off on their own later in flower. 4 weeks just isn't enough time...the fastest strain I know of takes ~44 days.

If you haven't yet cut the buds, don't. Give it another few weeks to mature. Do you have a microscope to check the trichomes?

He can't give it another 4 weeks...he cut off all the fan leaves! How do you expect a 4 week old plant...with no fan leaves...wait I think I see 2? To flower in 4 more weeks time. You just set your plant back...oh 8 weeks? Maybe? Chop it and cure it like a mother...then get a headache.

Why do people think learning from experience...is better then learning from a book and from professionals then ATTEMPTING to execute. So much time is wasted...you could have turned your first attempt into a good attempt. Well the only thing left for you to do is cure and clean up those fan leaves.

As long as it has roots and SOME leaves or buds it will continue to grow. It doesn't need the fan leaves for photosynthesis because there is other plant material that can do it. Obviously he should have left them, and the plant will suffer, but it isn't going to add weeks on to this flower time or anything...just won't be as big/potent as it COULD have been. But he can still grow out his plant and get buds to smoke he grew himself.

You should be getting close to finished. Check your trichs as tom indicated above and you should be good.

i have them under about 140 watts of fluorescents. i cant get hps or anything right now cause i dont have a way to vent the heat. and i have a successful clone from that plant. so just give me a few pointers and i will do better with this one. thanks for all the helpful comments aready

hey man... i personally TRY to grow small due to my space i have to grow in... small grows are cool, and yes, you can learn alot from your first grow... you learn how to sex, veg, and flower... maybe not correctly the first time, but you still learn... if you are like me, i learn from my mistakes and so should you... take to heart all the good advice you get and blow off all the bullshit... check my thread in my sig... i may get 3 grams off of my plant, but like you, i grew it... it is a hobby and i fell in love with growing this first time around... and like you (i assume), i will be more educated on future grows... good luck and keep growing...

did you already cut it buddy? i did the same thing my first grow with cuttin' off all the fan leaves. let it try to grow until it dies or atleast gets a lil' more potent. don't cut it now, you would get high. it won't give you a "headache"as some idiots (as long as it's dried properly), you would simpily have to smoke more (maybe all). some of these people just say shit, when they have no experience of the situation, don't listen to them. you'll know who they are by there know-it-all hater attitude, and they're just fuckin' lame.

Hey man props for that. I know EXACTLY what its like growing small plants and I'm proud for you. Yes we all make mistakes but thats part of the growing and learning process. I was lucky this year and got 5oz. its my 3rd year growing. Best of luck and I cant wait to see what it looks likein 2 or 3 more weeks. YAHOO

hey im on my first grow too man, and ive made some mistakes, but my shit certainly dont look as sickly as yours does. you obviously dont know what the hell your doing. like what light cycle are you on? even with the tiny amount of light you have, it should have a little more girth than that by now. like why would you waste your time growin shit ass buds that in the end,are just gonna let you down(cause they will). im a newb and ive been combing through the endless amount of information on this site since before i even started to grow and im on my 4th week of flowering too. any cannabis growing question can be answered by someone on this site or already has. and for the "douchefags" on "your thread", these are just people who are proud of what they have grown and worked hard to grow it. so if you dont like the "grown up talk" then go watch a disney movie and suck on your mamas teet.

Good stuff buddie, let that plant finish and youll be happier. Life is about learning, and some lessons are taught by making mistakes and then correcting them so that they dont repeat again. BTW those buds will be strong as hell, all the plants energy went into smaller buds, plus a plant has x amount of thc to begin with its hard to degrade it period.
