Appropriate musical number for some of us to relate to.

Hi all -

I just thought I'd share these lyrics with you all from the song "Grow for Me" from Little Shop of Horrors.

Hope you all enjoy!

I've given you sunshine
I've given you dirt.
You've given me nothing
But heartache and hurt.
I'm beggin' you sweetly.
I'm down on my knees.
Oh, please-grow for me!

I've given you plant food
And water to sip.
I've given you potash.
You've given me zip.
Oh God, how I mist you
Oh pod, how you tease
Now, please-grow for me!

I've given you southern exposure
To get you to thrive.
I've pinched you back hard,
Like I'm s'posed ta.
You're barely alive.
I've tried you at levels of moisture
From desert to mud.
I've given you grow-lights
And mineral supplements.
What do you want from me bud? . . .

I've given you sunlight.
I've given you rain.
Looks like you're not happy,
'Less I open a vein.
I'll give you a few drops
If that'll appease.
Now please-oh please-grow for me!

I'm sure there are more than a few on this site that would find that very analogous to their current grows. I'm all for it. Love the sig btw. +rep

A couple of years ago our local Drama co-op put on that play repleat with all the props including an enormus Audry II. They held it at our local Highschool auditorium & the place was packed 5 nights solid. A very good show especially when baked, Damn, I thought she was coming to eat me.
And the best part was after the final act of the last show (the one my wife and I went to) the charicters "unmasked" and it turned out that a very good friend was Audry II - pretty funny when we talked about it later over a J.

Cool! Yeah, live musical productions are great! It's such a lost art. Do you think that "Glee Club" will bring back that kind of entertainment again?
