Back..Maybe aerogarden

Hey everyone ive been off for a long time so bear in with me.
Since ive grow before with both parents seeing it and not caring (they don't know its weed) i want to start an Aerogarden grow, please read below


I have a uople of questions

1. Can I switch the stock AG lights with strong ones?
2. Do the AG tablets work?

just take the light off the AG and use whatever light you want, i dont think there are more powerfull lamps for it unless you buy the way overpriced upgrade hood that gives you 3 cfls as oppsed to 2. as for the AG tabs i say no aswell. they build up all sorts of crazy salts on the plants roots. i almost lost a super lemon haze to those damn things. i use my Ag to start my plants and after 2 weeks of veg they then get moved to dirt. the ag is a nice novelty for brginner growers to learn the ropes,, but you will have lots of frustration trying to get from seed/clone to harvest.

if you use a autoflowering strain you might have better luck, but dont use the nute tabs.

also beware of the stems damping off, another common problem with the AG. i use my AG for growing basil and dill now, but leave a space open incase i want to start a new seed.

wait so i can screw in any size cfl? instead of using the ones that come with the kit>?

currently i have a 37 day old autoflowering lowryder on an aerogarden deffenitely need the extra lighting

all i had was the AG lights good for vegetative growth but not for flowering got my plant all stretched out, just put in a couple cfl's 2700k 23w hopefully it will help her bush or bud out more good luck on your grow

no, AG has special fittings in the hood. but you can pull the hood and hang any type of life above it. check the AG subforum you will see all sorts of ideas for what is possible.
