Hey everyone; My girlfriend and I don't really spend much time together.

Especially in my grow room.. She's just not into it like I am, and she is not a clingy girlfriend. Anyway, I was contemplating getting a grow room pet to keep me company. I was thinking an Iguana, or a Gecko, maybe a Ferrett or Hampster, or snake or a Bird. I already have lights set to 12/12 or 18/6 all the time; why not?

What's the best Grow Room Pet? You help me decide.

I would say fish cause the water could be beneficial but the back lighting would mess with it assuming those were the only ones u want in there. Otherwise I would say none. Get something that will benefit ur garden. Praying mantis, lady bug, spiders. Things that eat the bugs that eat ur crop. Otherwise I would say don't bother personally. Anything with fir is likely to harvest certain pest u may not want in ur garden.

Lol, I agree get a bunch of bats and make your own guano call it "Grow Room Pet Guano" :peace:
i would call my bat .......... mylar. i would imagine you could feed your bat insects for higher levels of nirtrogen, and uh..... dead fetuses for higher levels of phosphorus. i think thats right.......dead fetuses....

I had a small jumping spider keeping my company in there. I have no idea how he got in there but he fell down in my spare hydroton buck and he couldn't get back out. I grew so attached to him that I couldn't think about him starving with no food, so I took him back outside.

Any other recommendations?

ferret's are fucking horrible pets.. SMELL FUCKING HORRIBLE.. you have to bathe them all the time.. they hate it.. not a cuddly pet.. they suck

I got a red eyed treefrog chillin in my grow room and I use his frog turds in my compost bin
Awww man, that sounds like a perfect Idea, I want a frog & some turtles, they will be best mates. Thanks

I feel like i've seen a movie with an Iguana living in a grow room, or maybe it was with Cheech & Chong, I forget, but a tricked out THC Loving Iguana would go perfectly in my room; As long as he doesn't eat my buds

Cool thread. If youre like me and always trying to save on elec. then a turtle is a suggestion. A heat rock and a small bulb and thats it i think. A fish or a bird would be cool, but arent they alot of work?

I chose the ferret because it will produce the most plant loving CO2 as it is the largest animal of those listed.A out of breath German Shepard might be better though. Maybe even a CO2 tank with regulator. Personally I have a little Lhasa Apso dog that is fluffy as all get out, he doesn't go well with the plants, wants to eat them.

Build your own ant farm, make sure no leaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then just feed your trimmings to them stoned ants should be fun to watch. i might even do that

Or if you have ever went to the sandieo zoo they have a killer be hive indoors just drill a few holes to the outside then hook up tubes and honeycome homes. That was sick, if you dont know what i am talking about go check out the zoo down there.

:bigjoint: Good luck

I would rather have a grizzley outside, Bears
