First grow questions - drip system

Hi, so I am growing my first plant soon and I am waiting til I have everything but here is my setup:

36x20x62 Mylar tent
150watt HSP light
10gallon Hydroponic setup w/drip
130gph water pump

Few questions:

Can I put an air stone on the bottom to generate more air in the tub?

I connect the drip tube that goes down to the tub to the air pump and stick that on the bottom right?

how fast should the drips be?

would it be benefitial to get a floating fogger to produce fog for my plants?

I appreciate any responses. Thanks

Looks legit maybe consider putting the light a little closer.
Yea theres nothing in there right now, I plan on moving it closer when I put the plants in but my seeds dont seem to be germenating :[

I put them in a paper towel and moistened it and put it inside a tuppaware container but no cracking. Its been 5 days now and i dont think these puppies are gonna crack. Ill try a warmer place and hopefully that might help.

You need air in the res or the roots will drown. One option is to scrap the drip entirely. Read the thread linked below.

Oh boy one of the seeds cracked and the white flagella root is about to come out. I feel like I am becomming a father haha.

How long until I put it inside my hydroton rocks? And do I put it directly inside or should I use my rockwool I have and place the seed inside there and then surround with hydroton.

Any comments welcome :) thanks

The latter but make sure you thoroughly rinse the rockwool first.

Well today was a good day for me because I had two seeds that were cracked and sprouting. I put both seeds into rockwool cubes and placed them inside a tuppaware container and used another container (same size) to put on top to act as a dome.

Both seeds are growing a little more and one is already splitting the shell. Its not quite fully split but i would say its at an angle of about 65 degrees.

I keep the cubes moist with dripping a few drops of water on each cube every 2 hours and they are sitting under my 150watt light and slowly making progress.

I setup a timer to run the pump/irrigation system 6 times a day and my scheme looks like this:

6am - Light on, 15min of irrigation
10am - 15min irrigation
2:15pm - 15min irrigation
6:15pm - 15min irrigation
10:15pm - 15min irrigation
12:00pm - Light off
3:00am - 15min irrigation

A few questions I have are, where should i put the irrigation tubes? Directly on it or off to the side of the rockwool?

My thermometer reads 84 degrees F, is that too hot? How can I lower it to 75?

How often should I change out the water?

Thanks!

i like to use the compressed dirt rapid rooter cubes made by general hydroponics they work for me with great success from cloning to starting seeds
