finally ready for flower!!!

OK.. i am switching over to flower in a few hours.. i can't wait.. right now, its about 10" - 10 1/2" right now.. she seems to be doing great..

5 weeks in VEG under CFL and MH.

250watt HPS cool tube

some of the pics have white 2 gal. bucket, but i recently (2 days ago) upgraded to 3gal. before flower.. to give her some more room to stretch..im still not sure how im gonna arrange my screen yet. im still waiting for this hyper growth to start.. lol and we'll go from there.

as for the main stem... i believe i just bend that down to one side and keep it even with the rest of the bud sites as best as you can ....from what i read and understand..Im new to the scrog world of growing but i have read a shite ton of scrog posts..so im not going in blind....

well tonight will be my day 1 of flower.. ill keep updated pics on this post if your all interested...

looks pretty tiny for 5 weeks

looks really healthy but why is she so small??? i think u might have kept her in that 2 gal for too long, needed to stretch out a while ago. either way, nice plant

yea.. it was only under 150 watts CFL for the first 4 weeks.. then i was able to get it in under 250w. MH.. for the next week.. and it grew an inch and a half. so im thinkin its that or yea.. i prolly left it in that 2 gal bucket too long....which sounds aabout right... because it started slightly distorting its fan leaves.. and they started warping to the sides.. as if ROOTBOUND.. thats one reason that i decided to change the bucket.. and i know your not able to do it in flower.. so i figured.. might as well...

is there any problem with 3 gal... or on my next grow.. should i upgrade to a bigger pot right off....i know you need a good root system.. which .. being bigger would allow that.. but i was wondering as my screen is only about 9 inches to the bucket right now.. i was wondering if i was to use a more shallow square pot about 6-8" inches deep .. but just much longer horizontally.. as per needing more room vertically.. to the screen ... will the roots grow .. to the sides.. when they hit the bottom of the shallow pan.. and spread horizontally or would the roots just hit the bottom and be like WTF... ... basically is it natural for them to grow horizontal once they hit there destination south..

i wasn't sure about the strain... it came out of a bag of deep deep purple danks that my buddy had one night.. and we happen to find a single seed in the bud.. in the whole OZ that he had.. but its wierd.. it started out with hues of purple on the fan leaves.. but now.. as there growing out .. there darker.. but the purplish hue isn't really there anymore.. so i really don't know..
when i smoked the bud... it was almost couchlock bud... it was a pretty intense high.. that lasted about an hour and started to dwindle off.. after that..
Im starrting to see alot more crystals on the leaves now.. its starting to fill in rather nicely.

what do you all think about the more shallow pot to put my next one in .. will that work..
