The title is pretty self explanatory. What's the right age to flower?
It ACTUALLY depends on your situation or method.

YOU CAN flower from SEEDLING. You see that often with people doing small or micro grows.

Rule is the longer veg time, the bigger the plant will be. Most ppl veg till the plant is about half the size they want, and then flower. The plant will still double it size from that point.

12/12 from seed, forces them to sex early. (as early as 19-21 days)
You can have earlier harvests.
Yeilds are low, but you can fit a hell of a lot more plants into a space.

There's pros and con's to every method. Find whats right for you. Askin questions helps. Good luck.

Both above replies are correct

But it is suggested to flower when a plant shows that it is mature

A plant is considered mature when the branches alternate in their growth

I've never had a plant alternate unless it was a clone and I've Vegged for 2 months sometimes. Cound that be a strain thing? I grow lemon skunk almost always.

Honestly I am not sure why you don't get alternating nodes after a long veg.

I always do after one month

Maybe it is the strain.
