It can take up to two weeks or more to show sex once you go 12/12.

alrite so once they show there sex i can just put them straight back into VEG ?
You can but its going to delay your harvest time. You're plants are going to stretch a fair bit in the first couple weeks of flower, so you may as well just continue flowering after weeding the males out, or veg a little longer until they start showing preflowers, then decide if you want to flower at that point.

yeah but i dont have much room + i want them to be big.
Im confused. You dont have alot of space, yet you want the plants to be big. That does not compute.

Plenty of people put their plants into flower 1 month from seed. You'll just get more yield if you veg longer. You decide what is best for yourself.

I have the same issue with 10 plants. Please let me know if you find out a good way to do this...I am wasting so much money on these plants when I bet most are hermies or male. =/

48 hrs of complete darkness between 18/6 and 12/12. This will stimulate the hormones to start the flowering process. My plants usually show sex within a few days of the lights coming back on. Sometimes even are already starting to preflower when the lights come back on. You can reveg but it will slow things down and add extra stress to your plants. I dont recommend it.

Just take a bag that is close to being light proof (paper or plastic...might need to use a couple brown paper bags inside each other) and cover a side branch so it only gets light for 12 hours. That branch will switch to flower, while the rest of the plant stays in veg. You can switch your lights to 12/12 to sex, but I wouldn't recommend going back to veg after doing so.

Another option is to clone each plant and flower them as soon as they root. This is not a fast method though, and will prob take about a month (2 weeks to root, 2 weeks to sex).

Look for the pre-flower pistils. On some plants they can be tiny - others larger. Those tiny little hairs that occur where the plant branches. Unless you do nothing to your light, they will pre-flower - let's say around 6-10 weeks, largely depending on your lights.
If you go 12/12 on your light, to encourage flowering, it'll take forever to return to veg - all in all a bad idea, I think

change to 12/12 today and they will start showing, within first week some will show then you can start arranging the pots and put
the females towards the back and as they show you have already moved ones for sure towards the back so you dont have to look at those each morning when the lights come back on as you already know about those. Also never wish for males or you may end up with all of them being Male, dont put the bad juju on yourself

I agree with cowboylogic. If you adjust the light cycle to 12/12, it would be better to keep it there until the grow is complete.

Is this really a space issue? You obviously have room for 12 plants now. As the males appear you will thin them out, giving the remaining plants plenty of room. Males generally show first.

It appears that space is not the underlying issue, impatience is. Not a criticism, just an observation. Growing takes time.

You want big plants so vegging is important. But remember, once you induce flowering the plants will explode in growth.

Good luck and good growing.
