When should I harvest (+rep+pics)

So all these plants started flowering about 6 weeks ago, and Im wondering about how much longer I can expect to wait before I see the pistols start to retract and the buds start to get denser...
I just started using molasses a week ago

#1 This one has been through alot, recently I had to hack it wayyyy down due to bud worms. Its been flowering for at least a month now.















#2 I have a feeling this gurl is going to be some super DANKy DANk







#3 This one is the slowest growing plant, I think it is some type of OG kush. Has been flowering for almost 2 months...

Nice looking plants dude, they look pretty close and should give you some nice smoke.

Ok so you are a newbie, every 1 is at sumtime. The trichomes should be half a cloudy white color and the other half amber or orangish color. Then its at its most potent. Is that what u want ??

get a 100x handheld micro scope with a light for 15 bucks.. look at the trichomes on the bud.. clear too early.. cloudy head high, half cloudy half high half stone... all amber full blown stonedddd..reallly this is the only method to be sure its ready.... people will say once the leaves curl and so forth.. but this way you can watch it mature and harvest to your liking

how annoying are you, you mean!!!! the man takes time to put pics up because you lot normally ask for loads of pics, then he does and you lot say shit like this!!!

well on the TOPIC i would agree 2-4 weeks all about the trichs though get
yourself a micro with light from radioshack $12 good luck man!!

That looks like pure dirt in those pots to me. Are you using and grow medium or nutes. That plant doesn't look all that great to me. The buds are very small and the nodes are super spaced out.

those buds look tasty and frosty, but i dont think there done. there too small and popcorny

but really, i hate to repeat someone, but the ONLY way to be sure is by getting your self a scope and checking to see if the trichs are the way you like em. none of us can really tell from pictures unless you take a macro through a scope

i like my trichs mostly amber for a full stoney high, so i say you have atleast 3-4 weeks, but hey, what do i know

I want to say "nice plants" but i cannot because they are not. not only were they bug ridden and hacked up (happens to me with mealy bugs sometimes) but your medium is borked. What kind of soil is that? It looks like stuff from your backyard. I can tell just by looking at the plant that its roots are lacking oxygen. One look at your medium confirms this. On my first grow i went to the grow shop and bought some dirt and dropped it in a pot with my seed. My plant looked like yours with the clawing leaves, small bud clusters, stretching and discoloration. In a few of the pics it looks like your water is pooling, that's because your soil is so compacted that you aren't getting proper drainage. This will cause your plants to look like they are overwatered for at least half a day after watering. Bottom line, your medium sucks but I can help you fix it.

-1part Vermiculite
-1part Perlite
-1part Worm Castings
-1part Peat Moss/Sphagnum
-4part Soil of Choice (i like Fox Farm Ocean Forest)

The vermiculite helps with drainage, the perlite helps with oxygenating the roots, worm castings is a low end fert that's easily used by plants young and old and after 8-12 weeks it breaks down in to stuff flowering weed likes, the sphagnum retains water/moisture to give to the plants as needed. When this is all mixed together, it becomes very sponge-like in the pot and will not compact even if you bounce on it. For plants 0-3 weeks old i use this mix but without the soil and after that ill transplant with the full mix. Anyway, better luck next time!

so Im pretty much off to get a microscope and expecting to wait another month its all good.

this is my first grow at the time all I had was some seeds from a clinic out in LA, and regular old dirt , a little bit of h2o and thats what I got. Im tynna be LOW KEY to so Im not worried about them bieng hacked up, I know what I want to get out of them in the end

my next grow will be great thanks to everyone who took the time to reply to my threads, I always thought big pics was dope because you dont have click and wait for the pic to load, now that is fucking annoying and whoever quoted my post will all the pics!!!! GOOD JOB LMFAO hahaa

what can I use to make them in complete darkness for a couple of days???
