Authenticity of stockI have recently been informed of Plantasur and do not know who they are. There is only one authorized distributor for the European (and Canadian) markets. The Boo and Bay are supplied authentic stock. There seem to be a number of counterfeits (and knock-offs) on the market these days, so buyer beware.
There is also authentic stock available in California to qualified med patients at a number of dispensaries/collectives/co-ops in Sacramento, Arcata, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, Oakland, Berkeley and the greater L.A. area (soon available in Redding and other locations). There are also clones of authentic mother stock available in Arcata, Riverside and L.A., hopefully more locations soon. Again, beware of counterfeits and knock-offs.

How ironic... I just bought 30 DJ Shorts True Blueberry beans today.. from a med site in Oakland. I picked them up because they were on sale 40.00$ for 10 beans. I picked through the last 20 bags they had in order to select the best three, although they all seemed pretty decent. Was just looking for some grow info on them here... nutrient tolerences and such. Sounds like mine are real...I hope.

Well you gota understand that they had to re emburse everyone who bought the fake ones
I had ordered blue moonshine and got the fake ones in
so when the replacements came in they didn't even have enough of the replacement stock to replace all the original orders
so i waited 4 weeks to not even get the original order of blue moonshine I had ordered
sucks meh so I had to choose something else from dj short except BM and his blueberries

Sure, I understand recalls. Seen it many times. Know more then you would care to know. Buy what you need to replace the fakes/replacements and what current business sales needs to move forward keeping sales growing. That isn't happening with time. Keep in mind many will take the credit buying something else so inventory shouldn't be out of whack for a month. Like a retail recall deal with the issue and get back to normal asap. When I emailed them after learning the replacements were in and being mailed out to customers I would expect about a week at most the short seeds back in selling mode. That hasn't happened and my email reply said "we don't have an answer but you can put your name in the email follow up when they are available. The correct thing to say is we are expecting them to be back on sale by the 15th with seed stock due the 13th.

you know why they haven't been restocked because, dj doesn't give them seeds. he "only distributes to seedbay and seedboutique in canada and europe. i'm not telling people to buy from them i'm just trying to help people get authentic genetics and to stop being fooled because, of naivity.
the seeds business is a very shady business and often times these websites pray on noob seed buyers. i suggest people here on riu do some research on breeders, i.e. who's an authorized distributor of said breeder. in today's day and age a breeder's packaging is easily duplicated. try and find these things out before you jump out the window.

Exactly why I raised the question for discussion in this forum. Appears (Only Appears no facts for back up) that Attitude isn't an authorized distributor of DJ Short seeds and this issue of fake seeds has brought the subject out in the open. Couple things going on here appears. Attitude was caught and DJ Short will make a bunch of money in the replacement seed deal but he may not sell them ongoing product. For relationship/distributor agreements or lack of available inventory to add another vendor (Attitude) etc. I don't think this subject is going away soon and with the ease of fake seeds for profit knowingly or not knowingly this may be the tip of the subject. I have had good dealings with Attitude so just a topic for discussion. Thanks for the DJ contacts. I'd like to know DJ Shorts take on attitude/and tude seeds.

attitude isn't an authorized distributor. if you pay attention to their statement they never claim to have been given or purchased seeds directly from dj short. they say they got them from planatstur or whatever. furthermore, i posted dj's statement about fake seeds and where to get authentic dj shorts seeds from and where he's distributes, to. he addressed this in august, in his own forum at icmag. i don't know why attitude would try and exploit dj short like that and think people who really know wouldn't call them out on the bullshit. he copyrighted all that blueberry shit. but, here's the link to the thread he started addressing that bullshit. http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=133233

They just put up pics and descriptions of high times top ten buds and that was one of them. And links to the seeds they did have. Cindy 99's pic and description is now not up at attitude because Dr. Greenthumb complained. Which in my opinion was stupid on Greenthumbs part because he was basically getting free advertising from a competing company who wanted nothing but to inform there customers of what high times thought were the top buds of the year.

funny how I am noticing breeders don't have their shit together on the marketing part. Can it be true that DJ Short doesn't have brand packaging? I read he still sends bulk seeds to seedbanks for sale however the seedbank sees fit to package? That is so funny stupid on DJ Shorts part if that is true? So much fake seed switching....funny....and again very stupid.

nah, his shit is tight. who is the attitude? dj short doesn't need them, he's being breeding before i was born, dude is a cannabis revolutionary. he's probably contributed the most connouisseur cannabis information ever. you just have fake ass websites, selling fake genetics to noobs who don't know any better and are just happy they got some weed seeds in the mail. shit, is funny i looked at their site and they stated they only have the best breeders seeds, lol. no dj shorts, no reservoir, no b.o.g., no s.o.l. my personal opinion, you'd be asshole man for buying seeds from them because, they're liars and don't have connections to actual breeders or at least not the ones they claim. noob as website, lol.
