life in prision or suicide?

iv been to prison only three year sentence it sucks but i got to say if you get ten year sentence if you dont act up you could be home in to and a half i live in texas laws could be diffrent but my friend killed somebody took it to trial got ten years self defence be home in 8 because it is agrevated charge some people get 25 years and are home in 8 so try not to kill your self be good and make parole earley

i understand your point, but free or not, that is not the life for me. maybe if i was homeless in the winter i would got to jail. free heat, meals and a bed.

I hear ya man, I just don't ever see my self being able to take my own life, so I'd jut go with the flow of things if I were ever in that situation. I've been to county jail before for just 4 months and man does it funkin suck, it's just sooo damn boring. I guess thats why people say county is worse than prison ha ha.

Life in prison. You might as well give it a shot. If you can't do the time you can always end it later. Besides, it's easier to get high in prison than it is on the streets sometimes. So you might have to suck a little dick now and then, hey it happens. No reason to end it all, unless you're sure you can't find a way to go on.

10 years ain't shit............Never know what life has in store for you. Might get out of prison and win the lottery. If I found that I had a terminal illness, I'd be getting some heroin to have around, just in case.

10 years in prison would not be enough for me to kill myself, and I'd bet it wouldn't actually be enough for you either. Its hard to fathom doing ten years in prison, but you would get used to. You can get used to anything after long enough. Life in prison, maybe...maybe not.

Well, if i got life i would kill myself. Most likely by way of suicide by cop. But picking a year? huh, im thinking 15 tops if i knew i wasnt getting out early.

Sorry but this will probably piss people off and I mean this only as a personal opinion suicide is the same as pussying out.

With the exception of terminal illnesses. !!!!!
The idea that killing yourself is being in control of your life I don't get at all.
And refusing to take responsibility for the crimes you comitted is pretty childish I think. I mean unless you are framed or some shit your there because you deserve it. Am I right?

Now if its for a long period of time why not try and escape it'll kill tons of time planning it which is good!! And even if you get caught who cares!? What are they gonna do? Your already fucked anyway!!

And for being someones little fuck buddy no way!! I'd do whatever it takes for that not to happen. I'd go as far as to kill the fuck and spend the rest of my life alone in solitary.

That's the point of our lifes it to survive despite all odds that's nature. Its what every single species of every living thing does and has done forever!! Adapt, evolve,

But like I said my opinion on terminal illnesses I won't touch that topic until its an issue I have to deal with personaly.

getting high is the least of my worries in prison and is pretty low on my list outside of prison. do doubt i would do anything that i could get my hands on in the joint, but really it wouldnt make me feel any better about my situation. and that is a really good attitude to have about sucking dick if you are going to prison, unfortunetely i dont think i could look at it like that. the dude would be dickless when i chomped down haha

Being alone with nothing is worse than drowning or any horrible thing you could imagine. Solitary confinement is my worst fear.

although i would kill myself, i have to agree with you 100 percent. that is why i would never be in jail for a prolonged period of time, because i am in control of my actions. also i agree that people should pay for their actions. but is prison for life really the answer. personally it sounds like an inhumane punishment. sure some people deserve inhumane punishments, but not alot of the people.

in my perfect world this is how the punishments would work.

murder- shot in the head immediatly after court

rape- same

molestation- torture then death by bullet. i dont give a shit, golden rule here

theft, major assault, other major crimes- 1-5 yrs

assault, drug dealing minor offenses- 6 mo-3 yrs

3 strikes and 15 yrs to life depending on offenses.


this might also sound inhumane but this is how i would prefer to be handled in the system. it would cut tax dollars and make for less time for criminals to be desocialized. fuck, it could be three strikes and death for all i care, it would keep crime rates in check due to the rise that would happen due to less time served.

its my dream lol, i am not to social anyways. just kidding, but it would be how i would prefer to serve time.
