Topping a Short Rider?

So got a short rider currently going and its the first time with the strain. Its an autoflower that gets 12-16inch tall and basically 1 big bud. My question it mine is about 2 weeks old 3 inches tall and its not spitting out its 4th node. Its 3rd node is already 5 leaves super wide and green. Im wondering since this plant is an autoflower with a time of seed to harvest of like 60 days is it worth topping? Or do you think it would slow growth down too much with the already short life span.

From the brief amount of reading I could find on short rider grows it has been like 50/50 if they would pre flower or not. So I am just going to wait and give them a decent chance to pre flower otherwise I will switch to 12/12. From all the grows I have seen though they ended up with a single coke size cola and that was all...no side growth or anything lol

so whats the answer? can you top em or noit, only people who have topped a shortryder please let me know. Mine are at 4 weeks from seed.

dont do it. autoflowers do not have any veg time to recover from topping like a normal plant would. if you do it your yield is going to blow donkey dick
