when do i start lighting

hi
i started 12/12 on the 3rd week from seed, you wanna see them know in the 8 days since 12/12 they have really shot up
this is my plant at 4 weeks 2 days

alright cool. my sprout is already at least 3-4 inches tall, i had to get something to make it stand up straight cause it was a bit weak.

i just have really tinnny leaves growing...i'll give it another week then before i start lighting.

i turn my lights on the moment the beans go in the soil so that the girls, hopefully girls, get their light the moment they can. without the light they'll just flail and die :)

are you saying you're growing yours without lights and plan to do so for a further week ??!??!????

and also airmovement to help strenghten the stem. unless you've a pound of bud pulling the plant over, then there should never really be a need to give the plant some support unless something is badly wrong

If you force flower your plants too soon. Your yield will be massively reduced, give them a chance to veg for a bit. As has already been said. They need light as soon as they break the surface. And you need the air movement to strengthen the stems, but also to ventilate as well.

that is strain dependant. I wish the smell from my girls came and went. Mine is pretty much constant. They will be fine mate.

with pics, someone would probably be able to identify them. In an ideal world they would all be girls. But this aint an ideal world. Lol. Good luck mate.

After the sprout and pot into soil, I give them light as soon as I can I use CFL so. They need light to know when they are up on the surface, otherwise the neck will just grow very long. No fan on them yet as they need moisture in the air, cover with a clear plastic so to keep humidity, after the first couple of real leafs has grown then you use fan.

Has soon has the plant has any green on it it should recive light. But i start my 12/12 off at around a ft or a ft and harf. But it will all depend on the size of you grow room don't forget that cannabis can and will double or tripple in size during flowering.Don't make the misstake of thinking the bigger the plant the bigger the yeild it is far better to do a s.o.g grow this kind of growing is the way forward in growing indoors. If the plants are flowered at a ft in size they should easy reach 2 ounce pere plant. But you can't let them get leggy keep on top of them the lights want to be realy close to the tops without burning. Also the bigger the tub you can fit inside of the growroom the better the bigger the root mass the better. This can be acchived by watering just once a week but make sure that the plant is wet through on watering day. Also flush more than just the once during flowering this will give you healthy plants right till the very end.

dude, please do some reading :)

if you're on 12/12, then you're gonna get a small plant with a crap yield that you could probably smoke through in a weekend.

you veg the plant first, under 18/6 lighting (18 hours on, 6 ofF) and then when it's to your desired size, then you go over to 12/12. that thing will probably stop groiwng at about 20 centimeters or something
