How can I get what I grow tested to see the levels of the various cannabinoids. I want to know if my stuff really is better than yours, or am I just high?

Just high, you need a scientist with expensive equipment, im thinking the test would cost more than you weed.

Never heard of that before, do you have a link? Like mentioned above
Need to have a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer to get the actual THC and CBD percentages

First you have to define standards regarding the EXACT plant material you're testing.

I have to laugh every time I read the Dutch or forum hype about THC levels in the different mutts. They never tell you what plant material was tested (where on the plant it was taken from), how it was prepped, how the testing was done, etc.

IOW, believe nothing of what you hear and half of what you see.

man even the books on how to use the damned machine are like £175 :(

i think i've got more chance of bribing someone on a chemistry course at the local university to get a nug tested.

£6000

Dead on. That's the main reason most of the THC percentages you see listed are useless.. they could just pull a single trichome and test it and say OMG ITS 50% THC WEED!!

I usually give a little more credence to the info when they list all the percentages (ex. 22% THC, 1.5% CBD, .3% CBN).. makes me think they may have actually tested the whole bud and did it using the right method. The GCMS tests for ALL known elements, and tells you the quantity of the sample you put in the little oven that it makes up.. so it makes sense they would tell you all the active chemical compounds it found :)

Such as barney's farm.. I would guess their percentages are prolly accurate. Plus the fact that it fucks me up something fierce.
