Dude, like I said, I'll feed anything, cat, human, whatever.I know most people think that humans are more important than animals, I personally find that to be a little arrogant; we're animals, too, and no better than any other thing that lives on this earth.I'm not caught up on one cat;it's any animal that is dumped and comes to me for help. Some people go work for charities, some do fund raising,I take care of strays and try to find them homes.I do this because it makes me feel good to help them and show them not all humans are shit heads who will beat them or dump them or ignore them. When people are hurt or abandoned, it tends to get a lot more attention than when an animal is.There are plenty of programs helping underprivileged people. And we don't euthanize orphans when we can't find them homes. But if an animal is unwanted, people feel like they have the right to decide whether that animal lives or dies, simply because they don't want to deal with it.Well, that's shitty.I'm just posting this to relieve a little frustration. If you don't agree, fine.I'm not "obsessed" or "caught up" because I have compassion for something. I'm not preaching to people to be vegans or not to kill animals for food;like I said, we are nothing more than animals, too.I'm just saying that it's cruel to treat another living thing like it's disposable just because it can't read or write or drive a BMW.
I agree with you.If I had more money and space, I'd have more animals. However, I'm not stupid and I know it's not right to overcrowd my own animals and make them unhappy by "collecting" more pets than I can handle.I have no idea why people think this is an obsession. If it were, I'd have no control over it and would have way more animals than I could reasonably shelter or afford.
